Happy Thursday, Maharanis! I have a breathtaking engagement treat for you today! Yogi Patel of Global Photography recently jetted off to the Great Sand Dunes National Park & Preserve with Indian bride and groom-to-be, Shital and Rishi, for the most captivating photo shoot — and you're going to fall in love with each and every spellbinding moment! Maharani Shital showed off two incredible looks for this portrait session, and this first mermaid-cut gown has us squealing with Desi lovin' delight! The layers of sheer cream fabric with amazing navy blue floral appliqué add a surreal and fashionable flare to the contrasting environment and complement it all at the same time! We love her chandelier earrings and hubby-to-be's handsome three-piece suit and bow tie too! We'll be checking out Shital's outfit change next, but if you can't wait to see what this Indian bride-to-be dons later on, you can take a peek inside the complete gallery!

Maharani Shital, on how she met the Raja of her dreams, Rishi:

"I met Rishi back when I was in college. He actually saw me for the first time at one of those Indian parties that we all use to attend. He added me on Facebook after he saw "the cutest" video of me (according to him) on my cousin's page. It never really went anywhere until I finally met him in person at the mall a very long time after so many failed attempts to hang out!! When I first saw him walking towards me in his blue flannel, I thought to myself "oh my goodness, he is so cute". At the risk of sounding so cheesy, I knew the first time I met him that he was "the one" and he was worth the wait."

On her Raja's unforgettable proposal:

"Rishi and I decided we would celebrate our 5 year anniversary in San Diego because I wanted to go to Sea World. He let me relax while he planned everything out and booked our room and got all the needed theme park tickets. On October 3, 2014 we headed out to San Diego, so excited to have a great weekend to ourselves. As we got to San Diego we checked into the best resort in the world with it's own private island, Paradise Point. After that Rishi had rented a boat for us. We were just exploring around the island having fun talking about what kind of food we wanted to eat later on that night. After a while of speeding around in the boat, Rishi slowed down and said "Hey, what's that?". I turned around to take a look and saw the sentence "WILL U MARRY ME?" written with hundreds of roses on the sand. It was so GORGEOUS!!!! I turned around again to find at Rishi on his knees asking me to marry him with the most gorgeous ring I have ever laid my eyes on!! After his amazing speech, I said YES! We boated back to the docks to find all our closest friends cheering us on so loud! My family was on FaceTime crying and congratulating us! While this was happening my twin sister from Indiana jumped out of no where and surprised me, which is when the waterworks began!! The most amazing moment of my life with the most amazing people all put together by the most amazing man!!!"

Join me later today for more romantic moments at the Great Sand Dunes National Park & Preserve with Shital and Rishi!
