Maharani Ayushi on the most magical part of her wedding:
"My mehndi night was so perfect. The people who mean most to me in life helped complete the mehndi on my hands. Getting so much love and attention is overwhelming and I truly felt like the luckiest girl as we danced the whole night away."
On her hair and makeup:
"I was very nervous since I never did a trial for my wedding because Swati was located in DC. We spoke on the phone many times and I sent over some pictures of what I wanted. She was beyond amazing, I never had to worry. She made me flawless and did exactly what I had imagined without me even saying a word."
On how her friends and family contributed:
"I have no words for what my family and friends did for this wedding. We had meetings at my house every other week to go over details. They gave me so much support every single step of the way. They helped out in areas I didn't even know about and would jump in without even a word. I am so blessed to have such a caring family and spectacular friends. I can't pick one detail because this wedding could not have been possible without them."
On the vendors who helped things go smoothly:
"Working with my flower vendor (Bouquets by Becky) was so simple; she made things so easy. She worked closely with us to make sure every arrangement was exactly what I wanted.
The venue was so accommodating to our needs. Having an Indian wedding is not the same [as having a Western wedding] and they made sure we stayed happy! The owner himself was around all weekend to make sure things ran smoothly. I would highly recommend LaMalfa, and working with Marty was a fun ride."
