Welcome back to Punya’s wedding reception at The Astorian, Houston’s Premiere Event Venue. Swaggering floor to ceiling windows, sweeping views of the beautiful town of downtown Houston, and crystal chandeliers to die for, this is one venue that is truly fit for a Maharani. Speaking of our Maharani, this doll just glowed in a one of a kind anarakali that boasted hues of purple, blue and gold from Jade by MK. Hair and makeup was on point with the return of Arti from Blush and Glow. The Astorian is truly majestic in its own right, however, floral and decor by Johanna Terry Events fancied up the venue and added that special touch. DJ Zee commanded the dance floor and Narin’s Bombay Brasserie returned to provide delectable Indian cuisine. Bollywood Dance Performers, Rice Bhangra, showed up to entertain the crowd, and, they were the perfect performance choice as Punya and her beau Ravi, both danced for the same team as college students! Have you checked out the Food Network’s new series, “Kid in a Candy Store?” Well, if you have, you might have spotted the showcase of The Chocolate Bar Houston, which provided cakes and treats to Punya’s party guests. Memories to last a lifetime were caught by Tall Productions and Biyani Photo. If you fancy, check out more images in the gallery.
