"Every love story is beautiful, but, ours is my favorite." As the year slowly comes to an end, I can’t help but relish over all the beautiful weddings I have been blessed to be able to encounter. So, it is most certainly sad when I see one end. We return to the Great Lake State celebrating the last festivity of Shivani’s week long wedding event at the Ann Arbor Marriott Ypsilanti at Eagle Crest. Let’s take a minute to gloss over this Maharani’s reception party lengha. Wrapped in velvet and embellished with a heavy zardosi print fit for any Mughal event, this is one lengha you won't soon forget. The bride is a natural knockout and donned a simple bridal look with undertones of soft pink by the magic hands of Amandie Mokdad and hair and a side swept up-do by Hairs to You. The venue looked stunning with both Utsav Planners and Bartz Viviano Florist, returning to spiffy up the Ann Arbor Marriott. The room glowed with the shiny tint of purple lighting from DJ Ice and Fresh Productions who also led the dance floor and made sure the crowd kept moving. Guests were in for a real treat with mouth watering chicken biryani and papadum’s from Shalimar Catering. Take a moment to drool over the one of a kind, multi tiered, wedding cake! This cake was designed to couture perfection by Triffles and most certainly stood out from the many wedding cakes I have encountered being in the industry. The night began and ended with guests creating memories in the photo booth from Memory Box with Beaded Elephant (FKA Jobst Media) behind the camera lens capturing all the wedding fun you find in the gallery.
This cold weather has me craving some spicy chicken curry and hot naan.
