We are always over-the-moon when we receive photos alongside a same day edit, because it allows us to see everything on an up close and personal level. Especially with Jaspreet and Gurjit’s festive Sikh wedding, which brimmed with details, and featured tons of inspiration. We were swooning over JSK Photography’s impeccably timed shots, particularly the getting ready and first look segments. The cohesive cream and tickle-me-pink color scheme was thoroughly captured in the outdoor photos of the first look, and seriously, how adorable is the shot where Gurjit is seen putting on anklets on his bride’s legs?! Pearls reigned plenty at this wedding bash. “My jewelry, chura, Gurjit’s kalgi, Sherwani, the Gurdwara and reception decor, all had pearls!”, Jaspreet shared. Hanifa Hashimi perfectly carried out Jaspreet’s vision of hair and makeup, giving her striking gold smokey eyes, and a bouffant hairdo that was accentuated with, (yes you guessed it), a matha patti with pearl strings. In addition to the somber and sophisticated decor at the Selma Gurdwara, Sikh Center of the Pacific Coast, Sai Decor added a cutesy display table with a “Pyaar Hua Ikraar Hua Hai” banner, and Moroccan lamps all around. Check out the rest of the gallery of what we like to call a Punjabi paradise!
