Every bride has a vision of the perfect series of events. From the initial “moment” with your Maharaja when you know he’s the one to finally being able to plan your multiple day event; most brides end up knowing exactly what they want for their big day. Maharani Ekta planned her events with a theme infused mindset. Her reverie was one that Red Umbrella understood upon conception and the rest was matrimonial history. Ekta held her big wedding bash over the course of Labor day weekend. With the task of designing and planning three days of differentiating decor to a guest list that topped over one thousand guests, Red Umbrella most certainly had their work cut out for them. On her garba night held at the Gujarat Culture Association (GCA), the theme was traditional Gujarati village. Guests enjoyed a pleasant evening in the colorful venue, dancing and dining on vegetarian cuisine from Umiya Mataji Mandir. The next day was the Royal Maharaja themed wedding. Channeling her inner Jodha Akbar, Ekta looked breathtaking in a velvet infused burgundy, white and gold lengha with an intricately designed dupatta. The wedding in its entirety was royal and regal with an unsurpassed touch of class. As the Mughal era is known for its magnificence, the mandap was designed in temple design architect that gleamed against the soft lighting of the venue at the Embassy Suites by Hilton. The layout itself portrayed that of a royal palace which hosted the Indian wedding ceremony to a crowd of over 1,500 guests.
