Welcome back to the #ChristinandNimish extravaganza! In the second segment of this dreamy affair, we have a starry wonderland-esque reception at the Sheraton Valley Forge HotelWedding Design centered this marvel around a contemporary, art-deco motif. The stage comprised of a twinkly backdrop, with an ivory and blush floral wall in the center. Vintage oval frames and antique gold flower vases were set up on either sides of the couple’s white sofa. A gold manzanita tree along with crystals, candles, orchids, and towering florals made for luxe centerpieces. Christin looked exquisite in an ivory and champagne ballgown with an intricate bodice, a masterpiece she found at Spy Baby Bridal Boutique. Christin’s hair was pinned to one side, and Glamour Eyes gave her a dewy coral glow - refined and ethereal! “The energy of our DJ, Vik Patel and emcee Neil Desai kept the energy of our guests up the entire night! We couldn’t have asked for a more upbeat duo!” Christin told us. Isgros Bakery baked a darling circular tiered cake, with rosette detailing and sequins sprinkled sparingly. Studio Nine Photography had us swooning over their detailed shots that enhanced this fairytale wedding! Check out the gallery for oodles of glam, glitz, and inspiration!

Christin gave us some fun and fabulous insights into the behind-the-scenes of the wedding, and the days leading to it. Here are some excerpts:

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
I met my husband through a mutual friend. As cliche as it sounds, I knew he was "the one" when we first hung out. I had asked him to go for a walk, and we spent hours tirelessly asking each other questions, eager to learn about one another. From that day forward, we were inseparable.

Nimish blindfolded me and walked me toward the dining room, saying he had a surprise for me. Unfamiliar music began to play; it was a song I later learned my niece had suggested he play for this special moment. With his arms wrapped around me, he told me that when he first met me, he knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me and all of our time we had spent together since then had solidified that even more. He removed the blindfold from my eyes as he gestured with his hand to a table filled with nineteen vases of flowers and a tea-light candle message asking, "Will you marry me?". As if on cue, Jason Derulo's chorus in the background began singing, "Will you marry me?" He knelt on his knee and asked me if I would spend the rest of my life with him. My heart was overflowing with the love I felt for this man, and I cried tears of joy as I said yes and he placed a ring he had so thoughtfully designed, on my finger.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
Planning a wedding can be stressful and quite a learning experience. Once we got our top list of vendor candidates narrowed down, we set up interviews with venues, decorators, photographers, caterers, DJs and MCs to decide who was the best fit for bringing our dream wedding to life. Seemingly endless trips to Edison, NJ were made in order to find not only our wedding attire, but clothing for all of our family members. I had a wonderful experience when I luckily found my diamond in the rough, Saima Yousuf of Glamour Eyes, on Maharani Weddings' list of vendors. On my wedding day she and her team went above and beyond my hopes and expectations, making me feel like the most beautiful bride. Wedding Design of New Jersey truly took my breath away on my wedding day - they captured every decor detail perfectly. As I entered the grand ballroom to walk down the aisle, tears filled my eyes from the sheer beauty of how breathtaking everything looked. It was everything I'd envisioned and more.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
Prior to my grandmother passing, she and I had a conversation about wedding dresses. She had expressed that she loved seeing me in red and thought that would be an excellent choice for my wedding dress. I shopped around in Edison, NJ for my bridal lengha, and found just what I was looking for at Mall at Oak Tree... a stunning red and gold lengha! I found my reception ball gown in Syracuse, NY at Spy Baby Bridal Boutique. While doing one of my clinical rotations in Albany, NY, a friend in Syracuse suggested we get our friends and my mom together and do some bridal gown shopping one weekend. We were late getting to our third bridal shop appointment, and I almost didn't go because of that. Additionally, I didn't want to feel rushed. But the shop was incredibly understanding and made me feel at ease. I tried on several dresses, but when I put on one in particular I didn't want to take it off -- I knew this was the one!

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The most enjoyable part of the planning was being surrounded by our families, as well as one of my nearest and dearest friends. It warmed my heart and soul knowing everyone was taking time out of their busy schedules to help us. We couldn't have done it without them!

What did your guest particularly love about your Wedding?
We had many compliments on everything from the food and drink to the stunning decor to the energizing music. Our guests really liked taking advantage of our photo booth and props, too, which we hired Shutterbooth Philadelphia to cover. It's been 3 months and we still have people commenting on how beautiful the wedding and reception were and how much fun they had. It really makes all the stress of planning worth while to know that everyone enjoyed themselves so much.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
After my husband and I made our thank you speeches at the start of our reception, there was a pause. My husband looked at me quizzically when music began playing, and he asked me if this was the song for our first dance. With a sly smile on my face I shook my head no. He got a big smile on his face and excitedly asked me if I was singing to him. The look on his face throughout my performance of "At Last" was something I've locked in my vault of memories. It was the best feeling to surprise him with a song because he'd asked me so many times if I would, and I'd covered by telling him I'd be too nervous to sing in front of so many people. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous leading up to this moment, but as soon as I began singing, it was as if it were just the two of us in the room. Truly something special I will always hold in my heart and mind.

Congratulations to this stellar couple and their perfect partnership! For more such awesome weddings and stories, return to the blog tomorrow!
