Welcome back to Prachi's royal Indian wedding affair at the Magnolia Dallas Park Cities Hotel. You know you hired the ultimate wedding planner when your guests proclaim how organized and timely your series of events flowed! Navi Kaur of K.I. Weddings made sure that everything went smoothly and did a superb job at that. For her final revel, the bride donned an over the top, champagne wedding gown that was fit for royalty. With an elegant updo and a dewy makeup glow festooned by Sarah Aasif, this bride was ready for her majestic affair. Speaking of royalty, Prashe Decor swung their magic wand transforming the spacious ballroom into a purple and gold haven. With specialities such as palak paneer and methi matar malai, the natural catering service to feed hungry guests had to be Maharaja Palace. After fueling up, guests couldn’t keep themselves off the dance floor with the gyrating beats of G2 on the turntables. The guests were treated to wedding cake from Nadine of ChezNadin as they celebrated into the wee hours of the night. 1 Cinema Productions proved to be a triple threat with ensuring that the live action was caught on film, provided the photo booth and snapped all the images you can find in the gallery.
Prachi spills more details on her event!
What did your guest particularly love about your Wedding?
I think the guests from out of country (India) were impressed by how timely and well organized it was! Our local guests were also pleasantly surprised by the punctuality! The fact that both of our families are very big on being on time and having a wedding planner had a big hand in it. The most compliments we got in the end were for how absolutely elegant the entire affair was.
Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Yes! The moment when during our first dance my husband (who is Gujarati and knows very little to no Hindi) surprised me by memorising all of the lyrics and sang them to me. He sang with so much passion and love that everyone noticed it and mentioned it afterwards!
Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Yes. A few things I will make sure my younger sister also does before her wedding day: Try on the wedding dress, wedding shoes and jewelry and walk around in it (even if it's only around the house) for some time so you can be sure your wedding dress isn't too heavy for your own body weight, your shoes don't kill your toes with a toe ring in it and that your earrings actually fit your ear piercings! Also, at the end of the day, no matter what goes wrong (because believe me, unexpected things happen) just remember that so many people came just for you, to shower you with love and blessings!
We hope your 2017 is coming off with a fab start! See you tomorrow!
