Happy Tuesday love birds! Today we celebrate the union of Maharani Nishath and Shumon who wed in the sweet city of Sugar Land, Texas. The celebration was comprised of a traditional mehndi ceremony followed by a nikkah. For her mehndi night the bride opted for a flowing, turquoise and gold anarkali. Nishath’s home was decked out in Bollywood flair, encompassing colors of bright pinks and pops of purple and gold. As with every mehndi ceremony, the night was full of traditional fun, food and dancing. In just one sleep it was time to get ready for the wedding ceremony. Malika Ali of Vogue Makeup was brought on board to embellish this bride with jewels and the perfect shade of red lip gloss. Hair was kept high and sophisticated to ensure that the flowing dupatta was fit snugly. The bride donned a red and gold sari gleaming with refinement. Nishath hand picked jewelry for her event from Karat 22. After viewing the images in the gallery captured by SB Images Studio we have determined that this union was most certainly a gorgeous blend of Indian and American cultural influences.
We will return with the details of the wedding celebration decked out by Mandap Creations shortly. See you in a bit!
