Nikita and Rohan's reception at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa was a royal, purple affair with candles displayed as far as the eye could see! Prashe Decor stayed true to Nikita's vision of an elegant, neutral affair, while highlighting some bold pops of color, such as the fuchsia and orange florals and violet uplighting. The K.I. Weddings team stepped in to once again make sure that every detail at the reception was executed to perfection! The newlyweds exuded sophistication during this event. Maharani Nikita looked graceful in a glittering, golden gown with hair and makeup by The Infinite Perfection, while Rohan rocked a James Bond-esque tuxedo. After an incredible reception program, including a showstopping skit and dance in which the bridesmaids and groomsmen retold the story of Nikita and Rohan's epic romance, guests feasted on a rich Indian meal by Bombay Bistro. DJ Prashant Poudyal created a customized Gobo for the couple that served as a beautiful focal piece while he played music that kept guests going wild on the dance floor! Tell us about your reception's decor, style, dances, and all the special details.

For our reception, Rohan wore a classic black tux and I wore a glittery gold gown. I wanted this event to be neutral and elegant. All our tables had matching champagne colored tablecloths, with our sweetheart table standing out with a glittery covering! All the tables had bright florals for pops of colors (purples, oranges, fushia) and our whole event was lit in a dim purple light. There were candles everywhere - from the head tables to the 10 ft wall of candles behind our DJ as a main focal point. Our monogram designed by our DJ really pulled the whole event together. The highlight in our eyes was the EPIC wedding performance put on by our bridesmaids and groomsmen. The dance/skit highlighted our 6 year relationship and it was extra special as our whole wedding party has seen our relationship grow throughout college and after (many of our friends were past roommates, siblings, and sorority/fraternity members). We danced the night away past 1am and I enjoyed seeing so many of my parent's friends having the time of their lives, most who have watched me grow up since I was born.

Every detail of this wedding seemed so thought out and perfect! We'll see you all tomorrow!
