As Dhara and Nikhil's gorgeous wedding day transitioned to night, the One Atlantic was transformed with rich blue hues reminiscent of the Atlantic Ocean itself. Twinkling lights sparkled brilliantly from the lanterns and candles suspended over the dance floor. Bridal Arts & Events, who planned and designed the event, and Nirali Decor, who executed the floral and decor, created a stunning, rustic-inspired sweetheart table with arched branches and blue and champagne flowers. The elated newlyweds made their grand entrance to music by DJ Shilpa, which made their guests go wild. After music and entertainment, guests feasted on a delectable Indian meal catered by Chand Palace, and were awestruck by the magnificent, cerulean cake by One Atlantic Events that served as the perfect centerpiece for the reception festivities. Guests danced the night away under twinkling candlelight and fresh uplighting by Spellcaster Productions while overlooking the majestic Atlantic Ocean, resulting in the perfect celebration to begin Dhara and Nikhil's exciting journey as husband and wife. Description of the Day from One Atlantic Events:

Months of planning, countless meetings, hours finalizing the smallest details and flood warnings from a torrential downpour only hours before the ceremony finally gives way to a breezy cool wedding day over the Atlantic Ocean. The bride walks into One Atlantic with her mom in tow both grateful that the rain has stopped. As she enters the venue, she takes a glance at the ballroom where her wedding mandap is already set up. It looks like something out of a dream, white against the breaking dawn. It not only takes her breath away and threatens to bring her to tears, it slows down time to allow her to realize that today was the day she is going to be married. Gripping her mom's hand with misty eyes they walk to the bridal room to get dressed.

Before she knows it she is dressed, morning pictures with her handsome groom have occurred and the baraat has arrived on the One Atlantic floor. She dances out the small jitters in the bridal room to the dhol and DJ as they welcome all the guests. Her uncles are then before her to escort her down the aisle to the mandap. Traditionally, the uncle carries the bride down. So in true style, the uncles, both who tower over 6 feet 5 inches tall, make a square seat by interlocking their arms and carry their niece, all of 5 feet 2 inches, down the aisle. As she enters the room, she hears a silence and all the emotions of the moment hit her all at once. Her eyes begin to tear and she grips onto her uncles, not for fear of falling off but for emotional support. Placed before the mandap, she climbs the few steps of the mandap and reaches out her hand for her mom for support and strength. When the white cloth drops her world is at peace again, before her is her anchor and soon to be husband. It is at that moment, surrounded by love and support, that she entered into wedded bliss.

As the day turns into night, her elegant dream like wedding turns into a magical night. Above the ocean, One Atlantic is transformed. Deep blues of the night dance with champagne lights from lanterns and candles around the rooms. Tea lights are suspended from the ceiling over the dance floor and a sweetheart table is set up on a small stage with arched branches adorned with blue and champagne toned flowers. The bride dances into the room with her groom and at once transported into a night filled with stars. The twinkling of candle light, the rhythm of music and the excitement of celebration embraces her as she dances the night away into her new magical forever.

Sounds like a dream come true! We'll be back tomorrow Maharanis!
