Today we venture into Marriott Falls Church for the wedding ceremony of Farah and Raheel as they wed in blissful matrimony. The bride walked down the aisle in traditional Pakistani attire that she designed herself. The gold and champagne dusted embroidered georgette anarkali suit is a design that Farah worked relentlessly on to get right. The bride has gushed about how much she loved designing her own clothing and these photos clearly show the bride shining during her prime time! After the bride and groom exchanged rings and officially became husband and wife by friend and officiant Tariq Syed, it was time to wind down for the Walima. The grand finale was held at the auspicious BWI Marriott which was decked out by New Era Events. The room was bathed in a romantic candlelit glow with the sweetheart stage draped in chandeliers. Guests couldn’t stop raving about Farah’s choice of bridal wear, all the performances, the fabulous decor, and of course the food was a hit. The memories captured in the gallery by Akbar Sayed Photography have been forever memorialized with Samson Productions capturing all the live action.
