We now join Anisha and Nakul as their ceremony begins! The setting was picture-perfect for the emotional affair, with clear skies, and a sun that set perfectly behind the mandap. Family and friends were thrilled when Anisha and Nakul were pronounced husband and wife, and couldn't wait to get the party going for the newlyweds' reception! Ajooba created a purple paradise in the Bay Club Santa Clara. The floor to ceiling lavender draping and crystal garlands were the perfect backdrop for American Photobank to snap shots of the newlyweds and their guests! We loved Anisha's sophisticated, royal blue gown with gold embellishments and Nakul's suit and bow tie - they both glowed with happiness! Jhakaas Entertainment kept emotions high with their incredible lighting and music, and guests swarmed the jam-packed dance floor! We don't know if we've seen a happier-looking group rocking out on the dance floor! Guests also raved about the rich and flavorful dinner catered by Jay Bharat and the treats by Cake Delight. You can browse the complete gallery for more photos from this amazing event! Also, make sure to check out our interview below with Maharani Anisha - It's full of amazing behind the scenes details!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?

I met Nakul on the popular dating app, Coffee Meets Bagel! I knew he was "the one" from the day we first met! He was so fun, caring, and such a genuine person, I could not imagine finding a better life partner.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!

Nakul had been planning the proposal hoping that he could have the entire family and our closest friends by his side. After several weeks, he decided to throw his dad a surprise 60th birthday party and incorporate a second surprise - our proposal! Our proposal took place at the beautiful Dante Robere winery in Livermore, CA (my hometown!). Nakul had our friends wear red shirts that spelled out "Will You Marry Me?" It was very sweet and thoughtful, I had a hard time containing my happiness that day!

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?

Food tastings were a joy! It was so fun to be able to sample the food our guests were going to enjoy at our events.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?

Our guests thoroughly enjoyed each event! We made sure to have amazing food, music, and environments. In choosing our venues, I knew I wanted to have as much of an outdoor feel as possible, and I got that with both our wedding venue (completely outdoors) and our reception venue (indoor with an outdoor feel). Mehul did a great job with music, and he was very patient with us making sure he understood our music choice. Our food vendors were flexible and incorporated our feedback into their dishes to deliver the tastes and flavors we wanted our guests to experience. Ajooba (decorator) did a flawless job with decor - Tammy is incredible. She is very creative, experienced, and imaginative.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?

Walking down the aisle at my wedding was such a surreal feeling! That was the moment I truly felt that today was the day I was going to marry my better half!

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?

Things will always work out at the end for the best! For me, the planning process was easy, and I think it's because I had the openness and flexibility for things to change or be different than what I had imagined/expected. It's important to be easy-going!

Anything else you want to tell us? We'd love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)

The jewelry I wore at my events were a combination of my choices and a few family heirlooms. My bridal mehndi was done by Neeta Sharma, and it was amazing! She did a great job, and it turned out better than I imagined. What I particularly loved about her was her attention to detail, her professionalism, and ways she tailored the designs for me. She even incorporated the Coffee Meets Bagel logo after hearing about how Nakul and I met! The guest mehndi was done by Threads Beauty Bar & Spa (located in Dublin) and they were phenomenal! They are very experienced with guest henna and it shows in their professionalism, friendliness, and timeliness. Much needed when trying to manage so many guests! Our venues as I mentioned before were amazing. The wedding took place at the Dublin Ranch Golf Course during sunset, which gave our wedding a beautiful and natural backdrop. The reception venue was indoors but incorporated outdoor aspects such as a creek, trees, and other greenery. We decided to skip the cake, and order cupcakes for everyone to enjoy based on individual tastes! This turned out great and gave us a way to share our story and implement Coffee Meets Bagel into our wedding.

Have a great day Maharanis!
