Here at Maharani Weddings we love a good bridal posse surrounding the stars of the show - the bride and groom! A good supporting cast provides such good energy to pump up the festivities! Stephy and Tony's wedding, captured by 1 Cinema Productions was positively bursting with excitement from start to finish. The lovely bride, Stephy, was surrounded by her bridesmaids throughout her pre-ceremony preparations as she adorned herself. She wore a chic, off-shoulder, white gown that fit her like a glove, and hair and makeup by JTorry that left her looking movie-star ready. We especially loved her sultry cat-eye and ruby red lips - so stunning! The couple's ceremony and reception took place at The Westin Dallas Park Central, with event planning and design by Shelley K. Events and floral and decor by Bebe's Decor. The lovely bride has this advice from all you brides-to-be: "Try to enjoy the wedding day. You plan so much for so long and the day flies by in a blink of an eye. Delegate duties off to trustworthy individuals and sit back, relax and enjoy all the attention!" Wise words! And stay tuned - We'll take you into Stephy & Tony's ridiculously fun reception extravaganza with music by the world-class DJ Riz Entertainment and a gourmet chocolate fountain! In the meantime, take a look at the full gallery or read our interview with Stephy below!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?

Tony and I have known each other for almost 3 years now. We are both from Dallas and have several close mutual friends. However, our lives didn’t cross paths through shaadi.com until 3 weeks before I moved to San Antonio to do a residency in the summer of 2014. Online dating is very nerve racking and I was really hesitant at first. But I soon found out that Tony went to church with some of my very good friends who only had wonderful things to say about him. That reassured me enough to go on a date with him. I have always been a hopeless romantic waiting for my Prince Charming to sweep me off my feet. Tony and I did not have a love at first sight kind of romance. Ours started out as a sweet friendship that grew into so much more as we spent more time together. Tony is such a thoughtful, loving and sincere guy who makes me smile even when he isn’t by my side. When I see how kind he is to me even on the days I annoy him and make him mad, I have no doubt that he is truly my Prince Charming. I am so amazed at how perfectly God has written our love story so far and I cannot wait to see what else he has in store for the both of us.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!

I would be lying if I said that the proposal came as a complete surprise. I had been dreaming of my wedding and proposal for many years and had so many ideas of how it would happen. Even though I knew the proposal was happening, I was so completely swept away by how much thought Tony put into all the details and incorporated many things from my "ideas" into it. Tony had convinced me that we were going on a double date with some friends at a really nice restaurant. He came to pick me up with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. We first stopped to get appetizers at the restaurant we had our first date at. He then told me that our friends were running late and he took me to a park to kill time until dinner. As we walked through the park he started reminiscing about our relationship and how far we have come. Very soon we came upon a gazebo, that had a walkway filled with candles, balloons and flower petals. I am a huge fan of sprinkles cupcakes, and had mentioned to Tony about my vision to get proposed to at a sprinkles store. Sure enough there was a box of all my favorite sprinkles cupcakes waiting for me at the gazebo. After he put a ring on it, he led me back to our car to "go to dinner". But we soon arrived at another area in the park filled with all our family and friends. We ended the night with celebrating with all the people closest to our hearts.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.

Like I said earlier, I am a hopeless romantic who had been planning my wedding since before I met Tony. I would spend hours on pinterest, maharaniweddings.com, or looking through facebook pictures of recently married friends to gather ideas for my future fabulous wedding. So, I already had a idea for the different vendors I was interested in. Because I was in the middle of my pharmacy residency, we decided to hire a wedding planner to help with the process. After interviewing several of them, we ended up with hiring Shelley Kurian with SKE. We were hesitant at first because she was on the higher end of our budget but she impressed us with her professionalism and personality. Hiring Shelley was one of the best decisions I made during my wedding planning. Her team is so organized, thorough and flexible. For me, photography and the DJ were the other two important vendors. I had been a huge fan of A&A productions since college and spent a lot of time watching their highlight videos on vimeo.com with my roommates. So obviously they were the first email I sent. I soon found out about their great sister company 1Cinema Productions. DJ Riz is well known throughout Texas (and even the USA) so we asked around about past clients' experiences and after hearing only good things, we booked them as well. I had a few friends who used JTorry for their wedding make-up and looked absolutely flawless of their big day so she was a pretty easy choice as well. We did price shop quite a bit for all our vendors since we were on a tight budget but we are happy we splurged on these vendors.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?

I had an idea of the style of wedding dress I wanted. I tried on over 10 dresses in this particular style and soon realized that it didn't look as good on me as I had envisioned. I took several of my bridesmaids (who are fashionistas) with me each time I went shopping so their opinions helped. The dress I bought was one of the dresses I tried on the very first day I went shopping. I tried on many dresses at many different stores but I kept coming back to this particular dress. After trying it on for the third time, I decided to say "yes to the dress!"

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?

Wedding planning was definitely stressful but now that it is all over I miss it so much. I loved seeing all the ideas I gathered in my mind and my pinterest board come alive. I LOVED spending time with all my bridesmaids and getting attention as the bride to be.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?

Tony and I wanted to do something different at our wedding. We searched long and hard before we came up with the idea of doing a sparkle fountain at the end of our dance floor. I had seen this idea on pinterest but did not know any other couples who had done it. Our guests LOVED it! It was a complete surprise for our guests and everyone raved about it to us.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?

All our family members (including our parents), bridal party and close friends came together to perform a dance for us. Tony and I have watched that dance video over 50 times by now. It is such a special memory so see all of them come together to dance and celebrate us.

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.

My cake was absolutely pretty. I wanted a cake that was simple yet elegant. Delicious Cakes did a excellent job of incorporating our vision and making it a delicious reality. We had a different flavor for each of the 5 tiers so we had a cake buffet at the end of the reception.

We had a chocolate fountain during cocktail hour that was a huge hit. I am sad I didn't get to enjoy it myself but we got a lot of compliments on it.

We had the DJ ask people to Instagram pictures/videos from the night under our hashtag for a price for the best Instagram post. A lot of our guests participated we got lots of great pictures posted under our hashtag.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?

Try to enjoy the wedding day. You plan so much for so long and the day flies by in a blink of an eye. Delegate duties off to trustworthy individuals and sit back, relax and enjoy all the attention!

We'll see you later today Maharanis!
