Pamela & Virkaran’s Sikh wedding was a gorgeous occasion rife with tradition! The photos by Digital Love by Jarvis Chen captured Maharani Pamela and her Raja Virkaran preparing themselves for the ceremony at their respective homes. Pamela’s elaborate bridal look included an embellished red lehenga by Nazranaa, accessorized with a gold maang tikka, necklace, and kalire. The kalire holds an important significance for a Punjabi bride, and signifies happiness and eternal love for the newlyweds. Also, it is believed that the coconut-shape of the kalire is symbolic that she never runs out of food in her new home, while the metal represents wealth and prosperity. In addition, kalire are a fabulous fashion statement! Pamela’s look was further elevated by the magic touch of Looks by Jassi, who created angelic makeup and hair for the blushing bride. As Virkaran arrived at the Gurudwara Sahib, he waited eagerly for his Maharani to make her way down the aisle. His patience was rewarded as Pamela floated towards him resembling a picture perfect Indian bride it was obvious how excited the two were to be married! At the conclusion of the ceremony, the newlyweds were showered in hugs and kisses, and departed in one of our very fave vehicles, the Dodge Challenger! Digital Love by Jarvis Chen made sure to take some sultry portraits of the lovebirds and the Challenger before they sped off into the sunset. Maharanis, we’ll take you into Pamela & Virkaran’s glitzy reception soiree next, so hurry back. While you wait, enjoy the full gallery!
