We love fusion weddings for all the right reasons. There are the dresses, the dancing, the exotic food; each element seems to get better with each wedding we cover! Today we honor the lovely union of Sezin and Joshua whose wedding affair consisted of a garba, sangeet, wedding and reception party; this was truly a family affair as guests arrived from all over the world. Even Sezin’s reception party dress was flown in all the way from Dubai. With blush pink accents intermingled with silver work, this bride fused traditional prettiness with a modern twist. The Dar E Mehr Zoroastrian Temple, a place of celebration and worship for Parsis and Iranis of the Zoroastrian faith, sparkled with the artistry work of design team extraordinaire Elegant Affairs. My favorite aspect of the setup is the whimsical decor that takes me to The Midsummer’s Night Dream era. Just so delightful! Guests couldn’t stop clamoring over the unique cuisine provided by Raja of Bukhara Grill and some buttery naan sounds so delish at the moment! Of course, no reception would be complete without beats and Magic Mike DJs kept the dance floor packed. As an added bonus, we have some inspiring words from the bride herself: "Don't let the stress of planning for your wedding get in the way of what really matters; the one you love and celebrating your union with loved ones around to support you. On the day, enjoy yourself wholeheartedly because you will remember the touching moments more than whether appetizers were organized in a specific way." Head into the gallery where all the fun is waiting for you captured by Studio Fifty Five.
Have a great weekend and we will see you next week Maharanis!
