We welcome you with open arms to Sakshi and Rashank’s Indian wedding celebration where each element was carefully planned and expertly executed by the bride herself. There are so many enthralling moments of this fairly tale wedding that I am having a hard time spilling all the deets, but the most personable aspect was the bride’s jewelry. Sakshi’s handcrafted jewelry was a tribute to her heritage. Sakshi’s Mausi and Nani custom designed each intricate, minute detail of this showpiece. The Tilra , a Mathur khandan traditional Kundan jewelry piece, is embellished in pearl with setting in 22K Gold and Meenakari. Sakshi was adorned with delicate strands of Tilra, proudly displaying her Mathur heritage.  Her Chunri, Payals, Bichiya and Bangles were a customary token of love of Mama & Mami. Did you miss the gorgeous details? Click here for all the Indian Wedding highlights! Sakshi’s fashion couture spilled into her wedding reception where the bride chose to celebrate in a riveting, slate grey floor length anarkali at the Marriott St. Louis Airport. DJ Blaze Raj Singh turned up the speakers for the slow dance as “I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You” serenaded the guests and created a special moment in the father and daughter dance. The entire venue was designed with decor perfection by Fatima Dalal of Fatima Designs and the blush pink drapings paired with ivory iron wrought pillars was an impressive setup. I can absolutely tell how much heart was put into this traditional Indian wedding with a blend of Mathurs and Kashmiri customs & traditions. And, we have all the heartfelt moments in our gallery shot by Memories Are Forever.
