In the presence of their dearest witnesses, Liza and Kazi married and celebrated their nuptials at the splendid Castle Royale! The wedding planning firm, Glitz & Glamour Events, helped the couple to expertly plan their dream day and decorated the hall with immaculate sweet centerpieces and a splendid floral wall for the sweethearts' stage! The night started with the newlywed’s grand entry and was followed by a great dance time thanks to DJ Poster Child! All single ladies present lined up and got into position on the dance floor for the traditional tossing of the bride’s bouquet waiting for the good fortune to caught them, as Canvas New York Photography captured every candid and fun scene of the reception! Images By Aaron also contributed to preserving the special occasion with a fabulous footage that will bring tears of joy to those viewing for generations to come. How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
I met my husband maybe about 5-6 years ago. But I have known about him for a very long time and to our surprise, we used to live right across from one another. My building was on the other side of the block from his, but we never really met until one day he messaged me on Facebook and said: "you know we live right across from each other" and from there on everything just went in its place. How did I know he was the one.. honestly I don't remember when was the exact time but maybe I knew he was the one from the very beginning.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
So, since it was a Bangladeshi wedding, there was no formal "proposal." We always knew in the long run that we wanted to get married and when the time was right we were going to let our parents know about it. After a couple of years of being together we knew we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together so we eventually we told our families, and from there on everything just happened on its own.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
Once we decided to get married, now it was the whole planning business. I honestly had a love-hate relationship with all the planning but at the end, it was all worth it. First and foremost, a friend of ours, Rana - from Glitz & Glamour events, runs a wedding planning service and with him around it went smoothly. He helped us throughout almost everything! and I mean everything, from decor to centerpieces, and almost everything. First, finding a venue was sort of difficult especially with the budget control and finding that "perfect place" but we eventually found our place - Castle Royal, and we loved it. Next, for Hair & Makeup - I only wanted one person and that was Samiha from Bridalrangbysamiha. I knew from the very beginning that if and when I was getting married then the only person that would do my hair and makeup would be her. For outfits, finding "the outfit" was kind of hard and not so hard. I always wanted to be a "Sabyasachi" bride and honestly, I didn't want to look anywhere else. So I contacted them right away and knew what type of dress I wanted. I wanted something light color and with "summery" feel to it. And also, our theme for the wedding was "summer floral" so with sticking to that theme I went with a peachy/blush pink color dress and my husband went to floral minty green/peach sherwani. For my jewelry, I kept it pretty simple as I didn't want it to too much. I wore a green emerald/stone kundan set with tikka and jumoor.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Our guests loved our wedding. With it being a year already, people are still talking about our wedding. Friends and family are still asking and looking for inspiration from our wedding. One particular thing they loved was the simplicity. we kept most of the stuff simple and light. Our stage was just a flower wall with lanterns and candles on the floor. Our centerpieces were just few baby breath flowers and two pink roses in a mason jar. I wanted to keep the centerpieces very simple and clean without those extravagant flower vases.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
One special moment that still keeps replaying in my head is when we said our " I do's." It was one of the most special and unforgettable moment in my life and I will never forget it. We had our Nikkah completed on the same day as our reception and it was so special and lovable that till today I can't forget that moment.

Happy almost Friday, ladies!
