Amita and Aman had the time of their lives and joined their families at the lavish reception they held in the marvelous Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace! Nirali Decor made good use of the luxurious event space to create a breathtaking scenery! From amazing floral arches, a starry backdrop to grand scale table centerpieces, the venue exuded elegance and glam! Akbar Sayed Photography attended the big event and snapped the same glam and sophistication in the fabulous attires Amita and Aman wore for their first night as newlyweds! Amita opted for a fabulous blue lehenga with intricate embroidery as intricate as the heavy mehndi that Mehndi by Adiba designed on her hands! While Aman suited up in style with an enchanting navy blue suit! Christine's Bake Shop baked a bold white three-tier wedding cake that stood out amidst the lavish setting, while MVPDJ made everyone danced performing the most animated music after and before the banquet served by Rasoi Caterers! See the beautiful collection of images of this upscale soiree in our full gallery!

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
He surprised me with a Christmas gift at his parents house (it looked like a ring box- but really it was a Pandora charm). Later that evening when we got back to my apartment, he completely surprised me with a proposal. It was private, intimate, and he wrote a poem for me. So sweet.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?

It was the first dress I tried on! I didn't have a complete vision of my dress, just knew I didn't want the traditional "all red" dress. So I had a beige and burgundy dress for the Sikh ceremony and a mango/ burgundy dress for the Hindu ceremony.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?

The décor, the outfits, and the tranquility of both the Hindu and Sikh ceremonies

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?

My first "looks" with my family and my husband; watching them look at me in awe just so special

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.

The décor stood out, the centerpieces, colors of the wedding ceremonies- they all integrated well with our outfits and color scheme.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?

Take your time picking out your vendors. It all marries together on the day of your wedding, but make sure you're confident with whom you choose.
