Hi, dolls! As always, we are keeping our word by showing you only the best Indian wedding images around, and today's fusion wedding feature by our talented friends from SLR Pics Photography is no exception. We know you are absolutely ready for this second installment, so buckle up! Remember the gorgeous cream wedding outfit the bride rocked for the Muslim ceremony? Well, it is time to feast your eyes on what she has now! Another gorgeously breathtaking design! This time and for the Christian celebration, the bride rocked a long white classic gown with details in silver and lace. A total knockout! At the same time, Raja Adrian's dark blue tux with the lovely magenta bowtie gave that extra touch of elegance to the spree that we are just loving completely. Every detail was perfection! Just like the love these two lovebirds share. The Cruz Building was shaken to the ground by the huge amount of tenderness between these two! Looking for some ravishing ideas? Dive into part two of Shereena & Adrian's gallery gala and look no further!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
I met the groom during my freshman year at Florida International University. My sister had already been going to that university for a year and knew him through a mutual friend. So when we first met it was at a friend's house for a get-together. We began texting a lot, just as friends, then began hanging out more. I knew he was the one about 2 years into our relationship when we had fully accepted our differences (different cultures and religions) and were determined to work past it. I'm Trinidadian and Guyanese and Muslim. My husband is Catholic and Filipino.
Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
We had been dating for 6 years and were ready to get married. He was trying to surprise me with a proposal. It was around my birthday and he surprised me with dinner with a group of friends on the day of my birthday and told me we'd do our own thing over the weekend. So he picked me up over the weekend to get breakfast at Cadillac Ranch, in Kendall (FL). On our way to the restaurant, he said let's do something cheesy and put a lock on the bridge (the bridge was over water and was a live lock bridge). So he told me to find a good spot for the lock and when I opened the lock package it said "will you marry me" on it! And when I said yes I heard a bunch of people cheering, turns out he had my family come down from Orlando, a friend fly in from DC, and a bunch of close family and friends come to celebrate with us!
Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
I realized I needed a wedding planner. I was working full time and going to school full time (to be a licensed mental health counselor). So I hardly had the time to plan a wedding. So I used Flawless Events, Merlyn, to help us plan and she was great throughout all of it! We had 2 ceremonies and reception so a two-day wedding. The first was the nikkah, Muslim ceremony, at Nur-ul-Islam banquet hall. The next day was a Catholic ceremony at Annunciation Catholic Church. The reception was at The Cruz Building in Coconut Grove. My hair and makeup were done on both days by Mevi, a makeup artist, her Instagram is @glambymevi. My bridesmaid's hair and makeup were done by Zubaira (@beautybyz). My lengha was customized to the t by @nazaranaa in New Jersey. My wedding dress was from Coral Gables at Bellissima Bridal. I was really happy in the end I had a two-day wedding, not only did I avoid sour of the stress of doing it all in one day, but I got to have two color schemes. Teal, peach, ivory, and gold for the first day. Wine, green, navy blue, gold and white the second day.
How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
My friend Jacklyn Mathew helped me find a store for my lengha. I told her I wanted something gold and sent her pictures of what I had in mind. Her sister recently got married and went to Nazranaa. My dad was working in NJ at the time and went to the store to check it out. He said they looked great and did custom work. So I added peach to my lengha to match the decor.
What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The most enjoyable part of planning the wedding was getting my lengha. I had to fly to NJ a few times, but I loved it and was exactly what I wanted.
What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
My guests loved loved loved my second venue at the Cruz building. I heard a bunch of comments saying it was one of the nicest weddings they've been to. My husband did love the Indian outfits and even dressed in them themselves.
Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
My first dance! Fred Astaire in coral gables helped us choreograph our dance to "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran ft Beyonce.
For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
@esk_hurricaneswizz (Shan Azeerulla) was our DJ and he kept the dance floor busy all night. He played west Indian music, Indian, music, and American music. He felt the crowd out and their mood. We had a Tassa band, @dynamic_rhythms, that played for the bride and groom reception.
Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
If anyone offers help take them up on it! Planning a wedding is very time consuming and difficult. I had a great support system to rely on and you shouldn't do it all yourself.
Anything else you want to tell us? We'd love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)
My mehndi was done by @melissaaddams and my guest's henna was done by @hennabynali.
Stay with us, loves! More to come!
