Every bride deserves to be glowing on her wedding day, and Maharani Komal knew that very well. The gorgeous ceremony at The Tide Estate was everything you can imagine out of an Indian wedding and more. Color, glam, style, and family, all merging to create a unique celebration that surely will be kept in everyone's hearts forever. What we love about weddings like these is the quality time you can spend with your loved ones celebrating love, what more can you ask for? Our friends from PhotosMadeEz were there to capture everything and what a fantastic gallery they crafted for us today. After the glorious ceremony, it was time to move the gala to the reception hall and start dancing! These two lovebirds are undoubtedly the definition of style, just look at those reception attires! So much going on! Ladies, if inspo is what you seek, have a glimpse of this lavish flair coming from New Jersey!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
Komal's version: Komal and Chirag met on the dating app Hinge. Chirag had posted a picture of himself hanging from a basketball rim, and Komal was curious to know if he truly made that basket. Obviously, Chirag did make the basket. Chirag and Komal decided to meet for a date on Saturday, February 11, 2017. However, Komal was impatient and wanted to meet on February 4, 2017. Chirag said it was too cold outside, and preferred to stay in and clean out his closet. After bugging Chirag for about 30 minutes, he agreed, and the two met up for a coffee date that neither would ever forget.

Chirag's version: it was like -2 degrees out that day on February 4th and I was just being lazy. But I am so glad I got motivated!

I knew Chirag was the one because he treats me like gold and cares so much for me. He always makes sure that I’m happy and I’m good before anything else.

Komal's version: Chirag and Komal enjoy traveling together. After their adventures in St. Maarten, Colombia and London, they planned a trip to Barcelona and Lisbon. While planning, Chirag kept asking if Komal would be fine with going to the beach at sunset on Sunday. Komal loves the beach, so going there would not be a problem. Chirag also wanted the perfect outfit for the beach excursion... while Chirag cares about what he wears, he generally doesn't care that much. He also requested Komal wear one of her new dresses. It was a chilly day in Lisbon, and Komal was already sick (she always gets sick on trips). Chirag was worried that Komal wouldn't want to go to the beach at sunset on Sunday. After doing some sightseeing, they made it to the beach, where a photographer was waiting... Chirag popped the question, and Komal said yes!

Chirag's version: let me just say that hiding an engagement ring for a full week while on vacation is super hard! Everything about this was wonderful though and even though she may have realized what was going to happen in a relatively short time, Komal went along with it and the moment was surreal.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
Venue hunting was difficult! We really wanted a location Jay was convenient but not common. That’s how we decided upon on the Tides Estate. I decided on hair and makeup from references from my friends and family. I loved my outfits and I got them in India. Our venue is very classy and elegant and we just wanted to highlight those details.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I love neutral colors- so it was easy to fall in love with an ivory gown. I just felt like a princess when I wore it. My reception outfit was also something I fell head over heels for!

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The details coming together and finally seeing our vision come true!

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
They loved our food, venue, and decor. My outfits were a big hit! We received a ton of compliments on these!

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Finally seeing Chirag after spending hours getting dolled up. Also, when I got the Jaimala around him on the first shot, despite Chirag’s friends lifting him up!

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
We loved our Mehendi ceremonies- these were intimate affairs at each our homes and it was wonderful to spend with our family members.

We also loved our Garba- the decor was stunning, and our band was amazing. Everybody loved it!

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Don’t stress about the fine details on the day of- just enjoy!!

Anything else you want to tell us? We'd love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)
In my Mehendi, I had the NYC skyline, and a basketball because Chirag is obsessed with basketball! Our Jaimalas and the jasmine in my hair were imported from India. My nails were perfect gold and silver foil to complement both of my outfits.
