Hey there, Maharanis! Monday is here and for us to kick start our week the best way possible, we have Anita & Kristof's lavish wedding vision coming from Huntington Beach in California. The gala was full of tradition and color, just the way it should be. As you probably expect, Maharani Anita was just glowing for her special day and that also thanks to the magnificent work of Revastyle. The great team assisted her with hair, makeup, saree draping, and a gorgeous mehndi design! Truly a multitasking pro! As our lovely Maharani got ready, Raja Kristof and his groomsmen quickly approached with the traditional baraat thanks to Savannah Rose Carriages, to pick up the bride and start with the long-awaited nuptials. So romantic! So, ladies, more romanticism coming up in today's gallery thanks to Andy Shah Photography! Check it out and get those ideas going!
We had a Mendhi party the day before and many of the female guests had never been so I was happy to be able to share some great Indian wedding traditions. Since we were in Southern California, we had a taco bar for lunch to bring some local authenticity for the guests and the food was delicious. We did blend the party with some traditional bridal shower games and great 80's music.
We both had a Grah Shanti and Pithi ceremonies at each of our homes and enjoyed launching the wedding festivities with blessings from friends and family. Kristof decided to have one at his house too because he thought we should maximize the blessings and auspiciousness of our marriage. His family were great at supporting him and participating in the Pithi.
More to come stay with us!
