It is Wednesday and here at Maharani Weddings we never stop! Today we head down to New Jersey for Roma & Nick's beautiful grand Indian wedding vision! The various celebrations had absolutely everything that makes this bashes unique around the world. As we will see, for the lovely picture gallery, our friends from Unique Visions Studio went the extra mile capturing all the small details, fashion choices and decor sensibilities that had us absolutely sighing. Besides being special, weddings can also get hectic. For that reason, our couple recruited Urvashi Mishra, Wedding & Event Planner to make sure everything ran as smooth as butter, and guess what? That was precisely the case! Such talent! We are very excited about this, ladies, so click here for the first installment of this lavish jubilee and get those ideas going!
Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
Nick and I both lived in different states for over a year while we were dating. I went to Atlanta, where he lived, to see him for his birthday in December of 2018. He had made dinner reservations for us at a restaurant that had a beautiful view overlooking the city of Atlanta. We had an amazing meal, but the surprise was held for the end when he got on one knee in front of the whole restaurant and asked me to marry him! I was so excited to say yes that I actually knocked over the champagne glass he had for me on our table. As we celebrated, he took me to a different part of the restaurant where my parents and his parents were waiting for us!
What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The most enjoyable part of the planning process was undoubtedly the way the wedding brought together both of our families. We never thought we would enjoy having conference calls with our parents and wedding planner to iron out all the details, but it actually led to many really funny moments with our parents laughing with each other from different parts of the country!
What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
So many of our guests have told us that they loved how much Nick and I enjoyed ourselves during our wedding. We both danced more than we have ever danced before, and in fact may have danced more than anyone else at the whole wedding! We were both so ecstatic to be able to celebrate the greatest weekend of our lives with those we love the most.
Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Although it may sound cliché, my advice to all Brides-To-Be is to enjoy the process and live in the moment! People used to tell me that wedding planning and the wedding itself will fly by, but I had a hard time believing them. Looking back now, all the hard work and effort was absolutely worth it, but to cherish all the great memories you will make!
Part two coming in no time, don't miss it!
