Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
My fiance and I went on vacation to Miami to get away from the cold east coast. For one of the nights, he had planned a dinner in South Beach. He kept emphasizing that we couldn't be late or else we'd lose the reservation. We arrived early to the restaurant, and he convinced me to walk along the beach so he could take a picture of me in my dress. He snapped a photo of me on the boardwalk, and then told me to come down the stairs so we could walk in the sand. When I stepped down, I saw a picnic setup with champagne and gorgeous flowers. I also noticed two photographers lurking in the background, and then I froze. My fiance popped the question. I was a deer in headlights but it was the best moment ever!

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
My mom and sister accompanied me to New Delhi, India for wedding shopping. We went to a few boutiques, and I came across the most gorgeous rose pink lengha. I tried it on and immediately knew it was the one. Funny enough, I never thought I would choose a rose pink; I was leaning more towards a maroon or darker color. I am so happy with my choice!

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The most enjoyable part of planning was having my fiance by my side! We were both equally involved and that really benefited us. We used each other as sounding boards and both felt really supported. Another part of the planning that was particularly fun was the tastings! We were fortunate enough to have some of the best caterers for our food and wedding cake, so it was absolutely delicious.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
You cannot control everything, and there's no such thing as a perfect wedding. Try to relax and be at peace. You've already put in a lot of work, and just trust that it will all come together beautifully!

Get ready to be amazed with the upcoming reception party!
