Good morning, Maharanis! A brand new week is here, and we know that this week will bring you many beautiful moments to enjoy. We want to begin this week, filling your cup with inspiration. On this installment, we want to present to you all of the details that surrounded Noopur & Nithin's wedding festivities. To begin this journey, let me take you to the exclusive Richmond Marriott Downtown, the ideal venue chosen by our lovebirds to host their wedding celebration. Dream Shaadi was the mastermind behind every single detail. They embraced our lovely duo's vision and transformed it into a dream come true. Outstanding! As you scroll down, you will be enchanted by the natural beauty that Noopur, our gorgeous Maharani, displayed during her big day. She trusted the talent of SKS Salon for her beauty needs. And let me tell you that they made sure to deliver nothing but utter perfection. To conclude the celebration, everyone attended the wedding reception, where many memories were created. Everyone had a wonderful time, enjoying the combination of food from Lehja, Saravana Palace, and Candy Valley Cake, not to mention the incredible beats from Elite Entertainment, who turned this gala into an epic party. We are lucky to have the talent of Studio Nine Photography + Cinema, who captured every emotion of this wedding in today's jaw-dropping gallery!

He was living in Chicago at the time while I was still in Richmond. He told me he was coming to DC for a short conference but could stay for the weekend so we could hang out. I asked him what he wanted to do that weekend and he offered to plan it since I usually took the lead on organizing date nights. He mentioned he found a sweet deal for a boat ride on the Potomac River during the day. It sounded like a cool idea which we'd follow with dinner and a movie. Turns out it was a private boat and in the middle of the river, we stopped for a quick photo op where he got down on one knee and popped the question. We were still calling/texting our friends and family when we pulled up to the dock. When I looked up, I realized they were all actually standing right there! It was the perfect celebration!
How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I had always had my mind set on a full red and gold lengha. I felt it was traditional and trendy. But for whatever reason, I passed on every one of them I tried. The minute I tried on this red, gold, and dark green lengha, I was taken away. It finally felt real. I didn't think I would be emotional in that moment but I was and my parents were too! It was clear this was the one.
What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
My whole family decided to have "meetings" every so often where we got together and discussed/divided responsibilities. From the first meeting until the last, it was complete chaos. A lot of laughing and yelling, very little productivity. But no matter how many meetings we had to hold, they always showed up ready to go. Not only did they help me pull off the wedding of my dreams but they also celebrated with me every step of the way. Truly could't have made it through the process without them!!
Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
I think one of the most memorable moments was walking down the aisle, knowing that after 9 years of being together, we had finally made it to this moment. I was tearing up as I got to the mandap. There was a curtain blocking my view of Nithin when I first sat down. When they finally removed the curtain, I saw that he was teary-eyed also! We definitely had the biggest, goofiest smiles on our faces, both trying not to sob, and for a minute it felt like nobody else was there!
Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Pick your battles, revel in the chaos, and remember that ultimately no one detail can take away from the celebration of your love!
If we inspired you today, wait to see what we have prepared for you tomorrow!
