You're about to peek through the elegant wedding reception of today’s wedding protagonists: Rutu and Sagar. On the evening wedding reception, Rutu looked stunning thanks to the beauty team of Styles By Swati - Salon SBS who created a half updo with romantic waves that she flaunted with a crimson and golden embroidered anarkali-style gown! The stylish lady made her grand entrance with her dapper groom, Sagar, our fashionable Raja wore a black tux and burgundy bow tie ensemble that made him the man best dressed of the night! Chowpatty Catering served a splendid traditional dinner before Suj Productions played the first dance hit to start the dance party. Raksha's Custom Cakes created a delicious and gorgeous wedding cake festooned with intricate Indian motifs that were amazingly displayed and later cut by the newlyweds! Studio Nine Photography + Cinema’s clever camera crew recorded every minute of this soiree and shared with us the best shots in our full gallery!

After the emotional ceremony of Ami and Josh, guests were ready to kick the party back into high gear! The reception venue at the Hummingbird Nest Ranch was absolutely decked out in the height of sophistication with mesmerizing floral arrangements and decor by Shawna Yamamoto Event Designs, and every detail was planned to perfection by Planning Elegance. Maharani Ami was a vision of grace in a periwinkle lehenga and artful hair and makeup by My Fair Bride. As we perused the gorgeous photos by Matei Horvath Photography, our jaws dropped when we came across the couple’s appetizer and dessert table by Monsoon Group Catering. There were sweets ranging from strawberry parfaits to gulab jamuns artfully arranged to resemble the most mouthwatering works of art. Oh, and did we mention they offered pani puri shots? Yum. When the newlyweds made their joyous entrance into the hall, they performed a gorgeous first dance and guests cheered with delight. Soon after, Special Occasions DJ & Lighting brought the house down with the latest and greatest Bollywood hits, and the dance floor was packed with onlookers celebrating the glowing newlyweds! We were immediately smitten by the adorable couple of Ami and Josh and their colorful wedding celebrations! This darling twosome are so in love, and we cooed in delight over their first look on the serene grounds of the Hummingbird Nest Ranch. Too precious! Luckily, we were able to witness plenty more of the couple’s smiles and sweet glances in the ceremony photos by Matei Horvath Photography, where the couple recited beautifully traditional vows proclaiming their love and devotion to one another. We’re dazzled by every detail present at the events - from the breezy mandap by Shawna Yamamoto Event Designs to Josh rocking his baraat in a funky rickshaw from LA Rickshaw. Maharani Ami glowed in hair and makeup, mehndi, and styling by My Fair Bride, and a dazzling red lehenga that made her resemble a Bollywood Queen. This wedding was coordinated to absolute perfection, and we’re sure the planners and designers at Planning Elegance were a great help in making sure every detail fell into place! After Reshma and Shelvin’s sunshine drenched ceremony exit, the twosome couldn’t wait to head back indoors to celebrate their newly married status with their nearest and dearest! The Rockleigh Country Club venue was decked out in oodles of coral, gold, and lavender gorgeousness by Stylish Events, and electricity buzzed in the air the moment that guests entered the reception space. Celebrations immediately blasted off into a blur of dancing, singing, and sentimental speeches. Reshma and Shelvin looked like Hollywood royalty, with Shelvin in a dapper tux and Reshma in an angelic embroidered gown. They dazzled the crowd with their first dance, and caused every single guest to rise and cheer! And to our delight, Reshma made an outfit change into a silken red sari. Here at Maharani Weddings, we’re such a fan of brides switching up their reception look - the more fashion moments the better! Guests noshed on decadent cuisine throughout the festivities, and danced up a storm when M4U Events took center stage and cranked up their signature blend of Bollywood and Top 40 tunes. Morning Maharanis! We have such a fresh and pretty wedding to perk up your Thursday. Reshma and Shelvin are a darling couple coming to us from New Jersey, and their vibrant and whimsical wedding put us in such a delightful mood! Their ceremony venue was the magnificent St. Leons Armenian Church, and the lovebirds did a fantastic job planning for this meaningful event alongside their coordinator, Jessy James. The celebrations kicked off with the Christian ceremony where Reshma looked absolutely radiant in her pristine, embellished white gown, glowing hair and makeup, and diamond accessories. The couple were overwhelmed with emotion during their vows, and happy tears were flowing throughout the joyous occasion. When they were pronounced Mr. and Mrs. the newlyweds bounded from the venue in a playful shower of bubbles. With the bright sunshine and changing fall colors, they couldn’t have picked a better time or locale for the most important day of their lives.
