Tampa, Florida Indian Wedding by Amita S. Photography

Sweet summertime! One of the many reasons I love this season is because couples can take advantage of the sun and the warm weather to celebrate their love! That was the case for Sonal and Hetal, our bubbly couple tied the knot in sunny Tampa, Florida! There were lots of stunning moments throughout the festivities, however, Rajah Hetal had his stellar moment right at the beginning, he arrived to the ceremony venue in a unique way, a luxury yacht! Wow! That was something to witness. Sonal and Hetal found their dream wedding venue in the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel & Marina, this was the setting for them to pay homage to their heritage through a beautiful Indian ceremony. This thrilling moment was brought to life by Nikun Events who created a delicate and romantic mandap with fabrics and crystal chandeliers. A candlelight aisle served as the runway for the beautiful Maharani to walk towards the love of her life. Sonal's attire was just right for the season, her bridal bangles combined perfectly with her white floral lehenga design and her divine amber gemstone necklace, it was so unique and it gave her a vintage kind of look. The universe conspired for this pair to have the most marvelous wedding. Ok, ok! it wasn’t just the universe, Two Ladies and Events had a lot to do with it looking after every detail from the beginning to the end of the celebrations! After the lovely ceremony, the couple got on board their superyacht and Amita S. Photography grabbed her camera to capture the most glamorous sailing wedding pics! See more ideas about a sea-themed wedding by going to the gallery!

Queens, New York Pakistani Wedding by Alifsa Studio

After 4 years of planning, finally the big day arrived for Kishmala and Irfan. I must say this gorgeous bride did enjoy her wedding preparation process! They started their wedding celebrations with a bright and colorful mehndi night. The fantastic Antuns by Minar was the gathering point for this special occasion where music and traditions blended for a night to remember. Our bride and groom's outfits worked perfectly well together. The bright pink lehenga of Maharani Kishmala gave her a touch of grace that combined with her unique choice of jewelry added more beauty to the whole bridal look! The explosion of colors theme was imprinted in the backdrop stage, adding a spirited ambiance to the entire décor. The bridesmaids and groomsmen also joined Kishmala and Irfan with spectacular vivid outfits! The music and fun made the night memorable, but words are not enough to describe all the elegance and magic of the day, that’s why we are so grateful with Alifsa Studio who created a magnificent photo album of this love story. More and more to come of this heavenly wedding! Don’t go anywhere.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.

My mom and I have been planning my wedding for about 4 years now. Gathering all of the decorations and things we might need during the wedding. As the last 6 months apprached, that’s when we went into full on preparation mode. We made all of the baskets, mehendi plates, all the little decoration details but hand with the stuff we had been collecting over the years. The venue was Terrace on the Park in Queens, NY. Hair and makeup was done in the bridal suite by c. The decor was done by Stylish Events in Hicksville.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I really wanted to get a nice mix in my bridal dress of American and desi. That is why I went with red and white. I didn’t have a certain shade of red in mind but as soon as I put that dress on, I loved the color and the mirrors all over the whole dress. It was unlike any other I had seen.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The most enjoyable part I would say was the last few days approaching the wedding. Their were so many people in my house all the time. Someone was decorating the house, and others hanging my jehez clothes up. My sister and I were making decorative boxes to display my sandals and clutches. It was all such a memorable experience.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
I think just the overall feel of it. I had so many events leading up to my wedding. I had 3 dholkis, 2 bridal showers, mehendi, shaadi and last was valima. My wedding felt like it lasted a long time which I think people really enjoyed.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
The moment that replays in my mind is my entrance. When I was carried into the hall in an open doli, with the song “kaun Tujhe” playing in the background. It felt magical.

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
All the events before my wedding like the dholkis and bridal showers, those were all planned and decorated by my mom and I. For the main dholki I had at my house, I had my friends practice a dance routine with me months in advance.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
I feel like as a bride, you take too much pressure and tension on everything being perfect. You get so caught up in the fact that everything goes as you planned that you forget to enjoy your own wedding. The day of my wedding passed so quickly. When it was time for ruksati I was so confused thinking “wait, it’s over?” The whole wedding passed in just getting a photoshoot while everyone else had dinner. My advice would be to just take a chill pill and savor every moment of your wedding day because it won’t come again. So just enjoy it!

Denver, Colorado Indian Wedding by Kokoro Photography

Welcome back Maharanis! After the heart-thumping highs of the wedding ceremony we bring you the lovely reception images of today's affair kindly supplied by Kokoro Photography where Monica and Ritesh proclaim their union. The wedding celebration took place in a garden-feel ballroom, the genius DNM Events created a unique natural décor with touches of modernism that added a vibrant feel. Our fanciful pair stunned the party attendees wearing their best outfits for the last event! Maharani Monica donned a pink reception gown that looked flawless, by her side, her new hubby Ritesh wore a classic dark blue suit and a white shirt, just the right amount of color and style. The vibe was definitely relaxed with lots of choreographies and super fun games, but the main entertainment was provided by DJ Gurnam Singh & DJ Paul, who used the couple’s favorite Bollywood tunes to keep the dance floor packed. There are thousands of details of this gorgeous soiree, but I particularly would like to emphasize the pretty one-tiered wedding cake by Astonishing Cakes which surely had a huge amount of style! Our bride was accompanied by Raindrops On Roses Event Planners’ brilliant team every step of the way; starting with the planning process until the execution, they created a wondrous assemblage of events that made every guest happy and overjoyed to witness the happy couple praise their love. Experience more about this charming alliance and click the gallery by Kokoro Photography as soon as possible!

Dulles, VA Indian Wedding by Titu Photography

After a lovely sangeet/mehndi event, Preeti and Gaurav’s festivities were in full swing! The couple and their guests were ready for the sophisticated ceremony at the Washington Dulles Airport Marriott. Maharani Preeti started the ceremonial proceedings in a pristine ceremony lehenga that made her look positively angelic! Preeti embodied the picture perfect bride in her ruby red lehenga accessorized with a variety of bling (including a fabulous set of kalire!) and a perfectly pinned dupatta that we are drooling over. Maharanis, this wedding contains so many delectable fashion moments, so check out the full gallery for so much inspo. We are huge fans of mixing colors and bridal styles throughout wedding celebrations; the more varied the fashions, the more memorable the events and the photos turn out. Adding to Preeti’s glow was her ravishing hair and makeup by Bridal Elegance by Suman and swirling henna designs. Bridal Elegance by Suman Khosla brought their magic brushes to ensure that Preeti sparkled like a diamond! Raja Gaurav looked dapper as well as he gazed at his gorgeous and fiesty bride with pride and amor. The love between the two seems to emanate from each and every ceremony pic by Titu Photography. Check out the full gallery for all the romantic action shots!

Dulles, VA Indian Wedding by Stylish Click

Preeti and Gaurav had a bold and beautiful Indian wedding that lasted for over a month, taking place in lovely Dulles, VA as well as India. The celebrations kicked off with their vibrant Sangeet event at Silk Restaurant, followed by tons of nonstop wedding fun! Sparkling, jewel toned decor drenched their picture perfect events, with lush draping and rainbow hued umbrella by Silk Party Decor surrounding the festivities. We are obsessed with Maharani Preeti’s sophisticated and vivacious fashions throughout the celebrations. She looked positively breathtaking in her fresh and breezy mint Sangeet ensemble and bombshell hair and makeup. She glammed up the look with ornate, geometric jewelry, a side swept fishtail braid, and mesmerizing henna. We were swooning with happiness over these joyful Sangeet photos. We love to see the bride and groom having such a blast on the dance floor. Preeti and Gaurav obviously have such a fun time together wherever they are! Bask in all the Sangeet pizzazz with these vibrant photos by Stylish Click. In our next post, Preeti cranked up the color in a ruby red ceremony lehenga and Bollywood goddess makeup by Bridal Elegance by Suman Khosla. For a sneak peek of the rest of Preeti and Gaurav's wedding celebrations, hop over to the full gallery. When we return, we’ll give you all the inside scoop on their wedding ceremony with photographs by Titu Photography.
