Welcome back! We’re all so close to letting loose over the weekend, so it’s fitting that we’re covering Reshma and Ricky’s fun-filled reception extravaganza at the Hilton Garden Inn Dallas Lewisville. The event was a non-stop party that took place in the most beautiful of surroundings. My Designer by Jacqueline Padilla went above and beyond in transforming the ballroom with a dazzling display of blush floral walls, flickering candles, and intricate drapings. Even with so much beauty present, our eyes were drawn to the delectable four-tiered wedding cake by Annie's Culinary Creations that served as a perfect centerpiece to the awe-inspiring decor. The radiant newlyweds and their bridal party made joyous entrances to the reception which kicked off the festivities on such a high note! Maharani Reshma looked stunning in her coral sari, with beautiful mehendi by Samira's Henna Design, and glam hair and makeup by Makeup by Shilpa. After a touching reception program, DJ Riz Entertainment opened up the dance floor with his signature music and lighting. Reshma, Ricky, and their guests quickly took over the dance floor, and the photos of everybody rocking out puts us in such a great mood! Happy Friday Maharanis! Some of the best wedding moments happen behind the scenes and Reshma and Ricky’s wedding is a prime example of this! We begin with Maharani Reshma wrapped in a vibrant floral robe, surrounded by her bridal posse. The photos by Fairy Tale Photography captured their laughter while they sipped on fruity beverages. These images will make you excited to hang out with your own buds this weekend! While having fun with her giddy girlfriends, Reshma was dressed in an angelic white gown, adorned in stunning mehendi by Samira's Henna Designs, and primped and polished to perfection by Makeup by Shilpa. She positively took Ricky’s breath away during their first look! The couple were married in an emotional, traditional ceremony at the Mar Thoma Church of Dallas Farmers Branch surrounded by their loved ones. In our next post, we’ll cover Reshma and Ricky’s glitzy reception at the gorgeous Hilton Garden Inn Lewisville. Welcome back to the fabulous styled shoot planned and designed by Amorous Weddings and Events by Stephanie! Bloom Weddings and Events Floral brought in some vibrant orange, fucshia, and green blooms for this styled South Asian wedding ceremony shoot captured by Love My Life Photography at the Wekopa Resort. We're loving how the bold colors stand out against the stunning bride and groom models, who posed for some breathtaking portraits in gorgeous white garb from Bridal Boutique of Arizona and hair and makeup by the talented Yolanda Lake. Amorous Weddings and Events by Stephanie planned an incredible inspiration shoot for brides-to-be, and we're excited to bring you the photos captured by Love My Life Photography. We adore so many aspects of this shoot, such as the stunning, lotus-inspired mandap, vibrant details sprinkled throughout the decor, and stunning wedding fashions by Bridal Boutique of Arizona. Amorous Weddings and Events by Stephanie's goal was to create a shoot for the gorgeous Wekopa Resort venue that highlighted the cultural themes and motifs you would see in South Asian weddings, such as incorporating henna designs and bright colors in the stunning cake by Lesley's Creative Cakes and invitation and menu by Sundance Invitations. We felt transported back to summer while going through the gallery of this colorful and richly styled wedding. We'll be posting more from this fabulous inspiration shoot later today, but in the meantime you can take a peek inside the complete gallery!

We return back to The Westin Pittsburg Hotel for the concluding events for Maharani Hina’s Nikah celebration and reception party.  The morning started with the  bride getting dolled up for her big day with the most perfect dark purple lip stain that paired eloquently with her bridal garb; a charming floor length, magenta anarkali with heavily embellished stone work. I adored how the couple wrote each other love mementos and before their ceremony began hand delivered it to each other during their first look! After the Nikah, which is the solemn and sacred contract between the bride and groom, Maharani Hina was swept away in a horse led carriage from Carriage Limousine. Guests trickled back into the venue for the reception party which was lit up in a luminescent lighting and floral and decor Peacock Creations. Guests were treated to a unique meal from Shalimar- a catering company specializing in Pakistani and Indian dishes. The night began (and ended) with DJ Magic Mike on the turntables churning out the latest Desi Hits.
