Cancun, MX Indian Wedding by Novia Mia Photography

Welcome back, beauties! Things can get a little complicated when getting married outside of the country. However, on Mili and Bounty's case, nothing could prevent the fabulous outcome of their events! It is just unbelievable! A dreamed ceremony at the paradisiacal lands of Cancun, Mexico fulfilled every dream that our lovebirds had for their union, and that showed us again that real love does exist. Let's not forget the talent of Katie from Alquimia Events, who contributed to the majestic decoration of this day. According to Mili, they delivered just the way they have dreamed of. The Baraat of Raja Bunty was accompanied by Drums in Paradise, whose beat made us experience not only a "wedding event" but a "life-changing event," and that also left a whole number of dancing memories on this place forever. A bride can never go wrong with traditional shades of red, and our Maharani chose a beautiful deep red lehenga from Frontier Raas that, along with Gerardo Avila's makeup and hair, gave her a flawless look. Once the ceremony ended, their guest enjoyed the music from Dj Chad Singh, a way talented DJ brought from New York, who, according to our couple, made all guests, from the youngest to the oldest dance till their feet give up on them! So amazing! If you want to get more inspiration for your wedding, don't miss the gallery thanks to Novia Mia Photography!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
Just like any other Bollywood movie , me and my husband met at a mutual friends wedding in 2015. Grooved to some hit Bollywood songs and cheered to a few drinks . At that moment we didn’t know what was in store for the both of us , we just enjoyed the night . A YEAR later, we started talking day and night, the feelings became stronger for each other and boom ! I knew he was the one for me .

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
My husband decided to propose to me on the day we had a Roka ceremony at his house in front of everyone .

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
Wedding planning was very tough! We chose not to hire a wedding planner and we planned everything from scratch . Uncountable road trips from Belize to Cancun, in search of venues . We started wedding planning in December 2018 and didn’t find a venue till the last week of March , and we were going to get married in July , so it was crunch time for us . Atlast we found a venue and we were back and forth speaking to the team, who helped us throughout the planning process . I had everything else planned out in my head as to how exactly I wanted the decor and then met with Katie from Alquima Events to discuss , and Katie and her team did an excellent job in delivering just what I wanyed to make my dream wedding come true .      As they say , no Sindhi wedding is complete without good music , and for that I have to acknowledge DJ Chad Singh from New York who made all my guests from the youngest to the oldest person present in the events , dance till their feet give up on them . My hair and makeup was done by Mr. Gerardo Avila from chetumal. I didn’t have any trials done before my big day , as I didn’t have time to do so , however Gerardo knew exactly what I wanted.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I always wanted a unique Wedding Dress . Before going to India , I did a lot of research as to which cities and which markets are good for wedding shopping , and after doing that I concluded that Delhi is the place to go for wedding shopping , I took my mom and my aunt with me. The day we landed in Delhi, we started going to the different stores and boutiques , when we stepped into frontier raas (south ex) I knew this was the place I’d be getting my dress from and when the store personnel took out the samples , I wasn’t liking anything till she brought out a piece which I totally fell in love with and didn’t want to see anything else . I went to the trial room and tried it and I knew that this is the lengha I wanted to get married in .

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The most fun part of the planning process was wedding shopping!!!  There are so many markets that sell everything you possibly need for a wedding and you get to see the different styles of dresses , vibrant colors , etc ..

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
When we got feedback directly from our guests , the most common comment was EVERYTHING was great . For some guests , it was an opportunity to have a mini vacation , for some it was a family reunion so all our guests enjoyed that weekend .

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Yes , the moment that I entered ther wedding hall and I started crying as I was so happy that what I had dreamt of, was happening. The wedding hall was so beautiful and the decor was exactly the same that I communicated with Katie from Alquima.

Cancun, MX Indian Wedding by Novia Mia Photography

Good morning ladies! Today you are invited to share the love story between Mili and Bunty that began back in 2015 in a mutual friend weeding. Who would believe that this lovely duo will be presenting today their fairy tale story? After a three months search of venues from Belize to Cancun, Mili and Bunty found the perfect place to proclaim their eternal love! And the rest is history! A full cornucopia of beauty and traditional flair is what happened, and we have it all for you today! You will enjoy first the fantastic Mehndi images, thanks to Novia Mia Photography, who one more time brought us their amazing work pondering all the feelings that were part of this gala. Our beautiful maharani Mili looked astonishing thanks to Gerardo Avila, who fulfilled Mili's beauty desire creating the hairstyle she always dreamed of for this event. The hall was decorated with vibrant colors and well-mixed ornaments that gave a traditional, but at the same time, luxury vibe to the pre-wedding celebration. All of these wouldn't have been possible without the excellent work of Alquimia Events, who translated Mili and Bunty's vision in an extremely well-decorated dreamed hall! If you want to relive more of this love story, make sure to take a look at the gallery we prepared specially for you!

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
My fiance and I went on vacation to Miami to get away from the cold east coast. For one of the nights, he had planned a dinner in South Beach. He kept emphasizing that we couldn't be late or else we'd lose the reservation. We arrived early to the restaurant, and he convinced me to walk along the beach so he could take a picture of me in my dress. He snapped a photo of me on the boardwalk, and then told me to come down the stairs so we could walk in the sand. When I stepped down, I saw a picnic setup with champagne and gorgeous flowers. I also noticed two photographers lurking in the background, and then I froze. My fiance popped the question. I was a deer in headlights but it was the best moment ever!

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
My mom and sister accompanied me to New Delhi, India for wedding shopping. We went to a few boutiques, and I came across the most gorgeous rose pink lengha. I tried it on and immediately knew it was the one. Funny enough, I never thought I would choose a rose pink; I was leaning more towards a maroon or darker color. I am so happy with my choice!

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The most enjoyable part of planning was having my fiance by my side! We were both equally involved and that really benefited us. We used each other as sounding boards and both felt really supported. Another part of the planning that was particularly fun was the tastings! We were fortunate enough to have some of the best caterers for our food and wedding cake, so it was absolutely delicious.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
You cannot control everything, and there's no such thing as a perfect wedding. Try to relax and be at peace. You've already put in a lot of work, and just trust that it will all come together beautifully!

Get ready to be amazed with the upcoming reception party!

Held in the halls of the exclusive Hyatt Regency Dallas, this reception party was one for the books! Alpha Décor crafted an elegant decor that impressed everyone and ambiance the room in such an excellent way that it seemed out of this world. How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
I’ve known Jason since I was a child. We went to the same church all of our lives and were actually best friends during high school. He gave me boy advice and I gave him girl advice. It was time for college and we were splitting ways. Jason realized I was more than a friend and asked me to be his girlfriend. Three months into the relationship I knew he was the one. We’ve been together for 9 years since that day.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
I just had graduated from physical therapy school and really wanted to go on a trip. I decided on Italy and of course, I wanted Jason to come along. I did all the planning for each day but somehow he managed to make one of those days a surprise proposal. It was the most magical experience to get proposed to in your favorite city - Positano, Italy

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
Jason and I got all our major vendors out of the way right off the bat. We knew we wanted DJ Riz since the beginning because he’s been amazing at all of our friends’ weddings. Alpha decor was recommended to me by a friend and it was also one of the best decisions that I made. The decor was so heavenly and at such an affordable price. Everyone else did a fantastic job, including KI Weddings who made the whole event seamless and no stress whatsoever for us as a couple. Makeup and hair did a fantastic job as well!!

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
Honestly, I didn’t spend much time picking it out. It felt right and I just went for it! Circle park in Addison has incredible Choices. My bridesmaids outfits were actually custom made for each of them.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The most enjoyable part was doing it with my husband because I absolutely hate planning to be honest. But again, thank god for KI weddings who made it so much less stressful!!

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
They loved the DJ and how smoothly everything went. Also was complimented on the Raising Cane’s afterparty food!!

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
My sister’s speech was something special to me that I’ll never forget. Also walking down the aisle to the person I’ll be with forever!

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Don’t stress out too much, it’s one day and everything will go way better than expected. Save the drinking for later and make sure the experience every moment of the beautiful day!

Anything else you want to tell us? We'd love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)

Dallas, TX Indian Wedding by John David Weddings

Happy Thursday, ladies! We have a new inspiring story coming your way. And this is one that will make your heart will explode with tenderness and joy! So let's jump right into it! We are starting this story by taking a look at all the beauty surrounding Benita & Jason's Christian Ceremony held inside the halls of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church. And all we have to say is that we loved every bit of this event, entirely planned by K.I. Weddings! It was so charming and emotional that we cannot help but feel happy for these lovebirds. For this wedding ceremony, Alpha Décor created a magical setting with a minimalist decor featuring white floral arrangements gently placed inside the halls of the church. There was so much beauty all over the place, but nothing quite as beautiful as our gorgeous Maharani! She looked ravishing dressed in her white bridal gown after being glamorized by DesseMakeup, who took care of her beauty needs. We also want to make a big shoutout to Samira's Henna Designs for the artistic Mehndi design created for our beautiful Maharani, as it added an extra touch of traditional flair to an already fantastic look! Check more of this magical wedding ceremony by taking a look at the shots captured by John David Weddings in today's gallery! You will love it!
