Dallas, TX Pakistani Wedding by LAX DSX

After Sophia and Hashir signed their marriage contract and officially began their happily ever after! A wedding banquet in honor of their union was offered at marvelous The Westin Dallas Park Central; here LAXDSX documented the precious events and caught the gorgeous images of the newlyweds at this wonderful location. The visionary and creative team of Bebe's Decor produced an elegant decoration with the sweetest and most romantic colors; champagne, gold, and blush that made the entire venue look beautiful and harmonious. FunAsiA created a delicious and exceptional menu that I’m sure they will never forget, as they will never forget all the fun they had with the vibrant music of DJ Ruby Ru! I really love the fresh roses in between the tiers of the wedding cake created by Cakes by Mehr as well as the charming Polaroid guestbook that gave a little interactive fun between the guests and the happy couple! How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
I met Hashir through a friend.  I'll be honest.  The first time we texted, I was not feeling it and tried my level best to avoid him because he was from California and I kept thinking he might be THAT CALIFORNIA BOY!  This was around November 2016.  I didn't hear from him for a week and a half till I got a random "add" on snapchat.  I got exciting thinking it might be an old friend reaching out.  I accepted it and messaged this person asking who it was.  He asked me point blank: "You already forgot me?".  I told him to send me a picture and maybe I'll remember.  He sent me the picture and I immediately told him OH YOURE THAT CALIFORNIA BOY.  He asked me if he could call me and our relationship started from there.  The reason I decided to give him a second change was because of his very calm and sweet personality.

He came out to see me a week later and gave me one of the best first dates ever and just that alone made me realize he has to be the ONE.  He opened the doors for me, opened my car door and shared his coat when it was cold.  It was a rare sight to see a man still exhibiting classy behavior like Hashir did.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
I won't lie but we didn't have an all-out proposal.  However, he did propose using a meme saying:
Will you marry me?
A) Yes
B) Yes
C) All of the above!

I had no choice but to say yes!

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
We got engaged in December 2017 and immediately planned for an April 2018 wedding!
I started selecting venues around Christmas 2017 and I can't count how many hotels I called for their availability in 4 short months.  Westin Park Central was the first place I really liked just because of our past experience of hosting parties at their venue.  I knew from day one I wanted Sarah Aasif Artistry to be my make up artist.
As for the outfit, I knew I could always trust my mom to select the perfect wedding dress for me.  She found Republic to be the best in terms of their selection.

As for decor, that was a difficult process finding a decorator who will work with you and your budget and definitely give their all.  When I finally met Bebe from Bebe Decor, I know that moment she would be the perfect decorator just because of her calming personality.  I loved how organized her warehouse was and the ideas she had in mind to make sure I had a beautiful wedding.  She allowed me to use the idea from her daughter's wedding just because I loved that candle/waterfall look for the backdrop!

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I honestly didn't select my bridal outfit however, I had an idea that I wanted to go pink or peach.  I have a wonderful sister in law Munira who would always send me quick Instagram posts of wedding dresses.  Once I had an idea in mind, I would send it to my mom who went to Pakistan to find me my perfect dress.
She loved the staff members at Republic.  They actually sent me a video on how to take my measurement which was a first for me.  I've never had a designer be that detailed like Republic was!  The funny thing was that my mom did not order a trail to be added onto the dress.  It was a gift from the republic and I have to say the DRESS WAS GORGEOUS!

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
Enjoyable part was bonding with my fiancee, Hashir at the time.  We were able to share our ideas and actually work together.  I loved how he was open to making this a beautiful wedding for me.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
They loved the floral decor, backdrop, and food courtesy of FUNASIA!

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
That moment when I am walking down the aisle and my groom Hashir is looking at me waiting for me on the stage.  That look of love in his eyes was truly special to me.  I loved how he had his hand out to help me up the stage.  Such a gentleman he is!

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
No matter how much hard work that is put into planning a wedding, the end goal is a beautiful marriage.  All that matters is you and your husband's happiness.

Anything else you want to tell us? We'd love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)

Dallas, TX Pakistani Wedding by LAX DSX

Happy Friday loves, I hope you are ready to witness the love story of the charming Sophia and Hashir that come to us as a special Friday inspiring treat! This match made in heaven honored their union at the premier Westin Dallas Park Central with a stunning reception that was documented by the talented LAXDSX who created a pretty album of the cute duo through a series of insanely beautiful outdoor photos. Our today’s bride, Sophia recruited the amazing Samira's Henna Designs artist to create the unique henna patterns that decorated her hands, while the Sarah Aasif Makeup Artistry assisted our Maharani in all her makeup needs. The bridal trousseau included an elegant pair of pumps wedding shoes that matched the magnificent pink Anarkali suit. Hashir also looked extremely dapper next to his bride with a perfectly fitted cream sherwani and a pair of traditional juttis with an identical brocade pattern! See how these newlyweds nail the perfect shots in our complete gallery by LAXDSX!

Farmers Branch, TX Indian Fusion Wedding by Vek Photo

Get your party hats on for the grand reception of Asha and Kevin! Afterward, it was time to pop the cork and turn the music on at the exclusive The Westin Dallas Park Central. But just right before, Vek Photo created an astonishing wedding gallery that included a series of unique shots at the most magical natural location. Asha changed her white gown for a magnificent silk saree, traditionally wrapped and tied by the expert JJ Drapes while the lovely reddish henna paisleys from Meena's Mehndi added more charm to the look. The couple went straight into the dance floor and get the party started with the fantastic beats of DJ Riz Entertainment who also provided the creative uplighting that brighten up the venue. Weddings by Farah added lush garden romance with bespoke greenery centerpieces that were accentuated with fresh cut flowers and a stunning glitzy draped stage! Dallas Affaires Cake Co. created a fantastic bakery confection that was placed in the most incredibly pretty bed of florals and was by far the most heartwarming moments of the occasion. See this and more lovely scenes in our full gallery now!

Farmers Branch, TX Indian Fusion Wedding by Vek Photo

Asha and Kevin fused and cherished their Indian heritage with their Christian faith in a perfect fairytale wedding, joyfully carried out in a traditional Catholic ceremony!  The union took place at the Christ the King Knanaya Catholic Church and it was fully covered by Vek Photo’s team! The splendid images narrate every step of the way of this cute duo, from the intimate getting ready moments to the big and loud send-off! Maharani Asha picked a stunning white gown and a long veil tied to a beautiful updo created by Reshma Abraham and walked down the aisle, beautifully laced with rich greenery designed by Weddings by Farah. The solemn ceremony was a one-of-a-kind experience that united the two lovely souls, and soon after the rites were over a huge group of doll players along with their guests gave these two the most memorable and special send off! Events by Hala were behind this gorgeous union from the very beginning to the wedding day that you will see once you visit our complete gallery.
