Philadelphia, PA Indian Wedding by Fabula Photography

Hey there, Maharanis! The long-awaited wedding season has arrived and we know that you, ladies, want only the best of the best to get those ideas going. Throughout this year we have experienced various types of Indian wedding visions. Some of them mixing modern touchups with ancient tradition, and some others, creating brand new styles that push the Maharani experience forward. Today, and warming up the engines, we have everything that went on at the Hilton Philadelphia City Avenue for Priya & Vivek's day of magic. These two lovebirds decided to celebrate their union big time and in today's gallery thanks to Fabula Photography, we will experience all the pre-wedding rituals up to the reception itself, which as you can probably imagine, was as big as ever. The queen of the night? Maharani Priya, of course! And who better to doll her up than Arfana Jasar? We agree, when two glam queens get together, beauty is to be expected! So, ladies, join us for this first installment! See you by the aisle!

Somerset, NJ Indian Wedding by Fine Art Productions

Wasn't it a gorgeous ceremony? After such a heartwarming event, it was time to head down to the reception hall of The Marigold for a celebration for the books. The gorgeous Maharani just shined with her fashion choices. We were totally loving that silver and white toned cocktail saree so much! Truly an Indian princess! And what about the person who swept Maharani Madhuri of her feet? Raja Denish brought his A-Game in terms of style and rocked this black mate tux that truly made us understand why our bride gave him the "yes". Such a romantic couple! But this is not all, the party was as grand as you can imagine. Having the team from Chand Palace with the catering services and M4U Events with the music, meant a top-notch celebration not to be forgotten. So, ladies, time to get dazzled one more time with today's gallery thanks to Fine Art Productions! See you on the dance floor!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
Denish and I met on a dating app called Dil Mil on August 1, 2017. The day I introduced Denish to my family is the day I knew he was the one.  Every girl wants someone who is romantic, caring, intelligent, passionate, trustworthy and loyal. When Denish treated my family like his own and that's the one quality along with all others made me realize he was the one.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
After 10 months of dating, we planned a trip to Jamaica. Jamaica will always have a special place in our hearts because that's where Denish asked me to marry him on May 5th, 2018, while having a candlelight dinner (with our very own custom made menu) looking at the beautiful Caribbean Ocean. We never thought we would become each other's world in such a short time frame.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
Denish was the Bridezilla in planning our wedding or should I say Groomzilla.  Since the wedding was in NJ and I'm from Massachusetts, Denish already knew most of the vendors.  Denish was definitely more involved in planning our wedding than any other Groom I know.  He would contact the vendors and set up the appointments which made the process easier.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I got a lot of my inspiration from Instagram by following a designer name, Annus Creation.  I knew I didn't want the traditional red wedding dress.  I ended up personalizing my wedding dress which was white and pink with elephants engraved( I am obsessed with Elephants). I love how modern and elegant my dress looked.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The most enjoyable part of the planning process was definitely picking the food caterer.  Going for food tasting with the whole family was fun.  Usually, the Bride and the Groom do not get to enjoy the food on the day of the wedding so we wanted to make sure we enjoyed the food tasting.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Our guests absolutely loved our Wedding Reception Decor, the wedding cake topper, and the live painting during the Ceremony.
Guests also loved the food during the ceremony and the Reception provided by Chand Palace.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Our First look was a really special moment at our wedding because I saw tears in Denish's eyes as soon as he first saw me.

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
The weekend before our wedding, we had Sangeet (Garba) night in Massachusetts at the ISSO Swaminarayan Temple.  Denish's friends and family all came to Garba from NJ.  It was a great night where all the guests really enjoyed the food, music, and dancing.  My mom and my aunts performed a special dance for us.

I also had a Mehendi night with all my family and friends. I booked Manisha from Henna Cafe to do my bridal Henna. I decided to incorporate the NY Yankees symbol and the Red sox symbol to my mehndi design with both city skylines since Denish is a NY Yankee fan and I'm a Boston Red Sox fan, The Mehendi came out beautiful and all my guest thought it was very unique.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Even though Wedding Planning is Stressful, try to enjoy the process.  Believe it or not, you will miss the planning after the wedding is over.  Enjoy the festivities and make sure you have some alone time to enjoy it with your significant other on the wedding day. The one thing to remember is if something goes wrong don't stress; no one knows the details of your wedding but you and your significant other.

More weddings coming up, don't miss them!

Somerset, NJ Indian Wedding by Fine Art Productions

Welcome back to your Indian wedding inspiration corner, ladies! This time around, we head down to busy New Jersey for a gorgeous gala that united Madhuri & Denish's lives for eternity. Weddings can also get hectic, lucky for our couple, there was nothing to worry about. When you have the team from Chandai Events assisting you with such an important task, peace of mind is assured!
