We return to Simi and Shabbir’s wedding celebration! The couple’s reception party was one for the books, and the darling duo dressed accordingly. The bride slipped into a stunning red lengha featuring plenty of stylish embroidery. We love when brides play with jewelry, and Simi’s multifaceted jewels are a perfect example of this concept. Her pearl maang tikkas, golden necklaces, and colorful bangles meshed so beautifully. Dapper Shabbir also was styling in his perfectly fitted navy tux. With a couple this gorg, Sarah Elizabeth Photography made sure to take some classic pre-reception portraits of Simi and Shabbir. Meanwhile, Events 2NV transformed the Bridgewater Banquet venue with gorgeous white, pink, and orange Indian decor, with planning and coordination overseen by the incredible R and S Events. A pristine sweetheart stage and cupcake tower took center stage in the gorgeous space. As the bride and groom finally made their grand reception arrival, guests cheered with delight, and were swept away in an evening filled with elaborate choreographed performances and melodious music. Morning lovelies! We’ll kick off Simi and Shabbir’s love filled weekend with a festive sangeet celebration celebrating this darling couple’s union. This event was bursting with music, dancing, and bright hues and as you can see from vibrant photos below, the colors just radiate from the screen! The centerpiece of the evening was Maharani Simi of course, who donned a green and red lehenga. The most mesmerizing part of her ensemble were her yellow and red floral accessories, which made her look like a dazzling fairy princess. We’re such a huge fan of this floral aesthetic and think every bride should adorn herself with gorgeous blooms during her wedding celebrations. There’s nothing prettier! The Holiday Inn in Worthington venue was transformed with a multitude of sophisticated, rainbow drapings thanks to Dalay Ket Event Design. One of the most important aspects of a mehndi/sangeet night is the stage setting, and the bride and groom had a fabulous sweetheart stage set up framed with brocade and chiffon fabrics. Kudos to the planning wizards from R and S Events for pulling of such a sensational soiree! Welcome back Maharanis! We’re loving every aspect of Meenakshi and Mark’s creative and luxurious reception gala at the lovely Hackberry Creek Country Club. The ballroom was utterly decked out in lavender and fuschia uplighting, intricate draping, and lush centerpieces by the visionaries at Affinity Celebrations. We’re swooning over all the personal details this dynamic duo incorporated within the reception soiree. Maharanis, sometimes the smallest touches make the biggest impact! Meenakshi and Mark’s guest book and table numbers were created out of pages of Harry Potter and we are gaga over this idea. Such an elegant way to include a meaningful book into your wedding day! Also, we are salivating over their three tiered cake emblazoned with a frosted peacock by Fancy Cakes by Lauren. The night concluded with a bang, as Meenakshi and Mark were surrounded by sparklers held by their loved ones. The chemistry was sizzling during Meenakshi and Mark’s first meeting - literally! This brainy and beautiful duo met at the UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Meenakshi was working with lots of dangerous chemicals in a research lab, while Mark was the team’s biochemical safety expert. Their love sparked brighter than silver nitrate and the rest is history! Their Indian fusion wedding in Irving, TX was a breath of fresh air, taking place on the spacious and scenic outdoor grounds of the Hackberry Creek Country Club. Maharani Meenakshi was a vision in her red and gold lehenga, looking like the epitome of a perfect Indian bride from the tip of her bouffant updo by Glamfaces to the bottom of her henna adorned feet by Sanober Moosa. Affinity Celebrations made sure to add to the refreshing scenery by placing bright white blooms throughout the ceremony space, topped off by a fairytale arch for the couple to recite their vows to one another. Loved ones teared up and cheered as the couple were finally pronounced husband and wife, and the duo made their joyous exit in a shower of rose petals. The party was just getting started, and in our next post, we’ll take you into the newlyweds’ euphoric reception soiree, filled to the brim with the most adorable dessert and decor details. We believe weddings are magical no matter what, but there’s something about beachside Hawaiian weddings that elevates the magic to such a majestic crescendo! We’re awestruck by every photo by Graham Chappell Photography taken just steps from the crashing ocean. Mira Savara Events put together a magical soiree brimming with beachy sophistication. Held at the Andaz Maui, the affair was seriously spectacular with massive palm trees and bright foliage. Priti flaunted her inner Bollywood diva in a navy and gold bridal lehenga. The reception took place at the ballroom in the Andaz Maui and candles, draping, and a mouthwatering cake amped up the glamour. And no party would be complete without the thumping of infectious music, so live entertainment by Manutea Nui E made sure this party in paradise was nonstop. We need to book a flight to Hawaii ASAP, but in the meantime, we’ll bask in the beauty of this wedding in the full gallery captured by Graham Chappell Photography.
