White Plains NY, Indian Wedding by Salwa Photography

Sajni and Amod planned a grandiose series of events in honor of their wedding celebrations at the luxurious Ritz Carlton in Westchester, NY. The experts of Touch of Elegance Events planned and prepared all the elements to bring this marvelous event for the couple and their guests to life. The mehndi celebration is one of the essential elements of a wedding and one of the pre-wedding celebrations you remember the most so our lovely couple wanted to wow their invitees with their best traditional style. Sajni opted for marigold and orange shades for her outfit and a lovely loose braid adorned with a floral tikka while her soon to be husband Amod, picked a cream silk kurta and a red-orange nehru collar jacket. Salwa Photography captured the best angles of the love-struck couple wearing their precious outfits in an eye-popping photo shoot. They did a marvelous job with their incredible talent by capturing the tiniest details of this special occasion. The venue was festooned with a unique decorative design by the genius Elegant Affairs Inc.’s crew that amazed all guests and us with their talent, creating a prismatic stage where our couple seated to receive all the blessings from their families! Check the insanely beautiful images of this one-of-a-kind pre-wedding festivities in our full gallery!

New Hyde Park, NY Bengali-Muslim Wedding by Ajit Singh Photograhy

Rare times we see a big pre-wedding festivity as the one Ishrat and Syadur held as part of their amazing wedding celebrations! The Castle Royale opened its doors for all the couple’s loved ones to attend the Gaye Holud night, which was completely filled with joyful dances and fun! I can just imagine that the guests were blown away by all the lanterns and drapery! The production for this event was impeccable thanks to the creative touch of Royal Charms’ team!  Two thumbs up for them and for the aesthetic tents in the center of the hall, excellent idea for an Arabian style event! In this occasion, Maharani Ishrat wore a classic flower jewelry set and a sweet floral crown and groom Syadur went for a bright yellow outfit that made him really stand out amongst all the guests! After the official inauguration of the wedding festivities, the bride and groom headed to the beautiful gardens and accommodations of The Inn at New Hyde Park where the cameras of  Ajit Singh Photography were ready to take the best photos of the bride and groom! For her special photo shoot and wedding day, Bridal Rang Samiha brought the best out of the bride, who opted for a pearl pink dupatta and choli that perfectly suited her red lehenga skirt and the groom wore a beautiful red embroidered sherwani. This well-dressed duo was in perfect sync and ready to say "I Do"! See more of this utterly delightful wedding in our full gallery!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
Sy always had a lot of responsibilities on his shoulder being the eldest and growing up without a dad he was a dad to his younger brother and sister and I saw how deeply he cared for them and his mom. I fell in love with his selflessness and I knew I wanted to be the person for him that he can always count on and lean on, someone that can finally take care of him, someone that can always make him happy.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
He proposed over dinner in front of both of our closest friends.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
I always had a vision and it was all executed very well by my planner and decorator Hasina Ahmed from Royal Charms.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I knew I wanted to do the traditional red, at first I was focusing on all red. Then I saw Anushka in this dress and I knew I this was the one!

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The most enjoyable part was that Sy and I did this together. We had so much love and support from our friends and families that we felt we were being celebrated the whole time.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Many people raved about our selection of food. Luckily our venue included many different appetizer station which provided a variety of food options for our guests.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
My favorite moment would our first look. It was the moment I was waiting for, to see my husband dressed up as his bride.

San Diego, California Sikh Wedding by Color Shot Studio

Hello lovely readers! We all know the mehndi is one of the most exciting celebrations previous to the ceremony, and today’s couple Mahima and Karan held a fantastic, private and colorful mehndi celebration with their closest loved ones. The venue was decked in flowers, colorful draperies and bold color umbrellas that worked as a background for the bride to have her beautiful henna application. Henna San Diego’s team specializes in the latest trends in henna art and created an intricate and stunning mehndi design that showcased the raja and the rani and paired flawlessly with the brides’ traditional wear! Karan joined her bride to celebrate such a special occasion wearing a red kurt. Maharani Mahima picked a yellow outfit with a turquoise scarf that she paired with a lovely pearl collar. Color Shot Studio nailed perfect photos of the couple in an adorable pre-wedding outdoor photo session, the pictures are just pure magic! Denver, Colorado Indian Wedding by Kokoro Photography

Happy Thursday, loves! You can just feel all the warmth, radiant smiles and love exuding from the wedding images of Monica and Ritesh courtesy of Kokoro Photography. Our Indian lovebirds tied the knot last summer in a lavish wedding ceremony at the Hyatt Place Denver Tech Center.  In the comfort of her hotel room, Maharani Monica was all dolled up for her special day with the professional makeup artist Kari Kisch, who created a luminous makeup look that made the bride glow throughout her special day. Any Indian bride, wouldn’t be a true Maharani without a stunning jewelry set and our Maharani certainly fulfilled this requirement, she looked incredible wearing a stunning jewelry set that enhances the entire outfit. The wedding ceremony marked the beginning of their marriage life and fortunately, the special occasion was all methodically planned by Raindrops On Roses Event Planners, they looked after every single detail and provided Monica and Ritesh an unforgettable day. I just can't help but fall in love with the charming and romantic décor. DNM Events customized the event with a fabulous dark purple carpet aisle runner and some fantastic tall golden vases that give an extravagant touch to the color spectrum, that also perfectly matched the sarees and sherwanis worn by the couple’s entourage. Check out more of the bride and groom's portraits by Kokoro Photography in our full gallery.
