The long-awaited day finally arrived and it was as grand and heartfelt as ever! As we will see in today's gallery thanks to Cheilean Jacob, the color palette chosen by the newlyweds for their galas was just so amazing and elegant. All the wintery vibes truly made them stand out so, time to take some notes, ladies! After the ceremony, the couple changed attires and rocked the classic champagne / gold saree and sherwani for the reception. Once the couple came out to have their first dance looking like real Indian nobility, you know that the party was about to start! Everyone was completely dazzled with Maharani Esther's look and beauty. The amazing team from Divine Beauty by Vaishali truly know how to take care of our Maharanis! So stunning! Welcome back to your inspiration corner on the web! Do you ladies remember Esther & Daniel's lovely wedding film we had here some time ago? Well, today and because you asked for it, we have the gorgeous picture gallery that comes to us thanks to the magnificent work of Cheilean Jacob. Welcome back, dolls! After a gorgeous ceremony that united Varsha & Dhruv's lives for eternity, it was time to celebrate the milestone big time!  Our newlyweds knew they wanted the absolute best for their guests for the reception and that was indeed the case. The culinary wonders of Diya Bistro left them totally speechless, I tell you that, ready for all the dancing! Maharani Varsha changed attires and her night ensemble? Well, let's just say that Raja Dhruv's jaw was dropping! The Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay was vibing with these two for sure. I am totally loving the soft tones chosen for the decoration of the gala, so romantic and elegant at the same time! Kudos to the team from Imperial Decor! The heartfelt ceremony came to an end and it was official. Meera & Prakash united their lives for eternity and an event like that had to be absolutely celebrated in big time. We have seen multiple times that this particular detail of the weddings is always as grand and colorful as anyone can imagine and this gala was no exception. The gorgeous couple came out looking absolutely stunning! Truly making the Stafford Centre vibrate! Maharani Meera's fashion choice was this beautiful and modern light cyan saree/dress that just knocked me out my feet. It perfectly matched with Raja Prakash's incredibly elegant royal blue tux! Just how it should be! One look at the venue and you could tell that Navi K. Productions planning and design work was so spot on. So, ladies, part two of this magical moment is here and you can't miss it. A loving shout out to our friends from SB Image Studios who were gracious enough to share their lense talent with us for our gallery, so let's get to it! 

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
I met my Groom freshman year, at UT. We had both made the Raas team (Dirty South Dandiya). We were co-captains our senior year & that’s when things got interesting: we began dating! I’m not sure when I knew he was “the one”, but if I had to pick a moment, it’d be when he was impersonating Amitabh Bachchan from a scene in Mohabbatein.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
Well, we had planned to go to navratri garba. It felt like any other weekend. I got dressed & we were “on our way”. We arrived outside of some building (I’m not from Austin, but my now-husband assured me they had changed the garba location this year)...there were peacocks in the parking lot & I could hear some faint music, but not garba music. I would later discern, it was a talented cellist playing renditions of Disney tunes. As we approached the park area outside of the building, I saw a board with pictures of us & it FINALLY occurred to me as to what was happening. We walked down a winding pathway which had more picture boards along the way, while my now husband recited poetic rhymes about us. At the end of the path he got down on one knee & popped the question, followed by a “yes!!” & brief moment of excitement mixed with panic..not knowing which hand to place the ring on! 

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I wanted a regal/royal look but also wanted to preserve some traditional elements. I looked for predominantly champagne colored lenghas with some pops of red. I was lucky enough to be able to fly to India to shop around & with the colors in mind, it was love at first sight. I ended up finding what I wanted in Surat (It happened to be budget friendly as well!)

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
From feedback, our guests loved the overall Bollywood-esque feel of the wedding. We have some talented family and friends who put on high-quality performances from storyline dance numbers to musical performances at every event. We tried to add personalized touches as well such as photo invitations, photoshopped baraat Bollywood poster signs, bridal party baraat dances, custom wedding pamphlets, concept video, & our non-traditional first dance!

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Hmm, my words of wisdom would be to spend money on the things you & the Groom or maybe your guest will truly enjoy & remember. Don’t think you “HAVE” to get certain things because of norms. We cut out a few “standard” items & instead went for the things that mattered to us. We did not have charger plates, a champagne toast, wedding cake or much stage decor for the reception. We did have an extensive dessert bar, fresh coconut water served in a coconut, & a canopy over our dance floor

We know that you, ladies, want only the best for your inspiration and ideas. And that is exactly what we have for you today! Coming from Texas, this lovely couple decided to tie the knot in all Indian flair and glitter and our amazingly talented friends from SB Image Studios were there to capture it all for our gallery of today. The celebrations began early for our Maharani Meera. The traditional Sangeet was absolutely lovely and it gave the families a chance to mingle and get to know each other! Indian style! After that, the bride changed attires for the lavish photoshoot and I was completely blown by the tones used. This stylish pair rocked this tangerine tone of orange that was just so out there! The big moment was getting closer and the great Mirage At Lake Conroe was looking its best for the celebration, beautifully decorated by the floral wonders of Divine Decor of Dallas. So, ladies, this feature is an absolute must for all things Maharani. Shall we take a look?
