Torrance, CA Indian Engagement by Michael Santos Photography

Good morning, ladies, and happy Monday! To kick start the final week of July with all of our glam senses finely tuned, we have an engagement session that was as beautiful as the real deal. Gunjeeta & Arun decided to have an intimate yet lavish affair to celebrate their upcoming nuptials. Luckily, Michael Santos Photography was there to capture the dreamy photoshoot and everything that came after it. I particularly loved how the makeup of Maharani Gunjeeta, created by Oscar Makeup, made her exuberant eyes glow even more! This Indian beauty truly stole the show with her gorgeous ruffle rose-toned dress and overall aura as well. Just like it should be! So beautiful! Head down to today's gallery and let yourself be smitten by this lovely pair. Don't forget to check Raja Arun's incredibly trendy satin black sherwani! Some serious style going on! See you there!

Albany, NY South Indian Wedding by Alifsa Studio

Maharani Akshitha was totally glowing wearing this incredible marigold toned saree with royal blue details. Vivid colors and shiny jewelry always makes up for a chic Maharani style! We are loving this intimate celebration that, as we can see, has all the right ingredients. The Sixty State Place was the venue that hosted the ceremony and our couple couldn't have chosen a better place to celebrate it. It was beautifully decorated with tones of cream and light coral that strikingly contrasted with our lovebird's fashion choices. So alluring! The beaming mysticism of this Indian union can definitely be felt throughout today's pictures, kindly shared by our amazingly talented friends from Alifsa Studio. So, ladies, what are you waiting for, head down to our gallery of today and join Akshitha & Harish as they tie the knot!

Albany, NY South Indian Wedding by Alifsa Studio

Hey there, ladies! Today it is the turn of Akshitha & Harish to embellish our screens and ideas with their fabulous self planned celebration. Our friends from Alifsa Studio were there to capture every detail that went on, and as we will see in today's gallery. And what a wonderful job our couple did, as it was as colorful as you would expect out of a South Indian bash. The ceremony was this lovely and intimate occasion that was the perfect moment for the bride to turn into a true Maharani princess, rocking a traditional green/coral saree with ancient and modern touch-ups, of course. This couple shines in all ways possible, so romantic! So many heartfelt moments and stylish designs in today's feature, ladies, be sure not to miss this enchanting gala coming to us from New York!

Woodbridge NJ Indian Fusion Wedding by Nikki & Chip Photography

For part two of this enchanting wedding, we will have a look at Maharani Lisa's incredible gorgeous wardrobe choices for the reception. Her style, as we saw on the first installment, was to die for. Modern and traditional. For the nighttime celebrations, she picked a traditional bridal red and gold kimono style dress to pay homage to her Asian ancestry. Seriously, this Asian beauty is too much! Raja Tarun, on the other hand, was wearing the classic and elegant champagne and burgundy sherwani /pagri accessories that totally turned him into the Hindu prince of our bride's dreams. The Ariana's Grand of Woodbridge was absolutely glowing for this gala I tell you that! So much going on, but lucky for us, our friends from Nikki & Chip Photography are masters in capturing all the details, so not an ounce of glam was lost from sight. Join us one more time for part two of today's gallery and get inspired!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
We met online. He was one of the few guys that knew how to write proper emails. I knew he was the one when I saw him eat pizza...we both tear the crust off and eat it like 2-year-olds!

He proposed at our first date spot. It was really sweet as the place was getting renovated and I wasn’t sure what was happening. He roped his sister in to take photos of the proposal without me knowing.

The wedding wouldn’t have been so successful without Arun from Detailed affairs team. He helped us make sure all the vendors are booked and attended all the venue visits. Our venue’s staff was amazing, easy going and attentive. They accommodated us and even make sure we were fed and had drinks during the whole reception.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
My lengha was picked out completely by Tarun in India. Red and Gold was our wedding color and he face time me at 2am NYC time to show me the selections at the store in India. It was pretty overwhelming but I gave him some criteria and he picked out a beautiful one.

Woodbridge NJ Indian Fusion Wedding by Nikki & Chip Photography

There is a legend that says that one time, a Chinese wise met a Hindu yogi. Both of them wanted to know who was the better magician. The task was to see who could climb Mount Kailash first. One of them started playing the drum, and the other one started to meditate. It is said that both reached the peak so both turned into the mountains that now surround the holy Mount Kailash, were Siva lives. Today's wedding is a gorgeous fusion and minimalistic wedding between two ancient backgrounds that understand the beauty of love and movement. Lisa & Tarun's vision was so incredibly intimate and colorful that we just had to share it with you, inspiration-seeking dolls! The Ariana's Grand of Woodbridge housed the beautiful outdoor ceremony that was skillfully planned and design by none other than Detailed Affairs Team, of course. When you get a combo like that for your nuptials, be sure that it will run as smoothly as ever. Seriously, ladies, Maharani Lisa's style is so chic and elegant but at the same time, with that special touch of genuine vibrancy that we love so much. Check our gallery of today thanks to Nikki & Chip Photography and have a look!
