Leesburg, VA Indian Wedding by Regeti’s Photography

After witnessing the gorgeous series of rituals and the main ceremony that led Krutika & Kartheek to swear everlasting love to one another, it was time for some serious dancing and partying Bollywood style. For this second installment, Regeti's Photography and their well-known talent, bring for us what went on after the couple tied the knot. The Hyatt Regency Reston hosted the reception gala and we are just madly in love with the entire idea and color of it. Yadeein Weddings and Seven Ivory Brides tag teamed to assist our lovebirds with the planning & design and the floral & decor respectively. An incredibly looking bash that saw our newlyweds celebrate with their loved ones, and have the time of their lives. It isn't a party if none is dancing. Lucky for our couple, that is just not possible in Indian weddings. The crew from DynastyAV understood that very well and were in charge of literally lighting up the place and dropping the ravishing beats that made everyone jump to their feet and start moving. You have to see it to believe it! So here it is, ladies, today's featured Indian wedding gallery.

Leesburg, VA Indian Wedding by Regeti’s Photography

It is Friday, ladies! And what better way to start your well deserved weekend than with a new featured wedding? Inspiration is flying through the air with this one. We are loving the energy that can be felt from Krutika & Kartheek's love and that is a hint of the bash they had. One of the most beautiful couples we've seen for sure. All the traditional celebrations that you want in an Indian wedding can be seen in today's feature. Our gorgeous Maharani Krutika, recruited one of the best to assist her with hair and makeup, of course, we are talking about Styles By Swati - Salon SBS. An old friend that surely knows how to doll up our brides and make them even more stunning. For the traditional mehndi designs that we all love, the team from Naseem Fam Henna Services brought their talent and crafted the beautiful shapes and figures that the bride rocked in all the rituals. An eastern princess on the works! The always fun Sangeet was held at the National Conference Center- Leesburg, as well as the main ceremony, and let me tell you, it was looking perfect, the kind of perfection and glam only a true Maharani would approve! Want to see more? Join us in today's gallery for part one of Krutika & Kartheek's wedding.

Bakersfield, CA Indian Wedding by Rama Photo Video

Part two of today's featured nuptials is already here, ladies! As you surely remember, part one showed us the pre-wedding rituals and the main ceremony that went on for Monia & Niraj's union gala. It was certainly a heartfelt gathering with all the elements that you want in the most important day of your life. Laughter, family, love, what else can you ask for? After a rollercoaster of emotions, it was time to head down to the reception, beautifully decorated by the floral arrangements of Angela's Party Rentals. The bash saw our couple celebrating big time with their loved ones and of course, you, Maharanis at home, know what that means. Choreographies, colorful smoke, smiles, music, and lenghas twirling through the air as the Bollywood sounds of music blasted into the dance floor. An incredible celebration that we just had to share with you! Do not forget to browse through today's full gallery and see it for yourself! A loving shout out to Rama Photo Video who was kind enough to share their work with all of us. So, it is time, let's go!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
I met my husband on a dating website called Coffee Meets Bagel. It used to be a smaller company back in the day and he was my match about 3 days into meeting my Bagels. We had strict schedules and we met after a whole month of cute banter. I was coming back from a Vegas trip, with no voice left and listened to me talk about my family the whole time. I knew he was the one when he didn't stop me from talking about family and allowed me to be myself.

We were in Hawaii, and I knew it was coming! I was dressed every day because I wanted the perfect pictures. He did on the last day when I had no hope left and was sitting in the room with a bun and no makeup. Someone from the hotel knocked on my room door, handed me a gift bag. It had a dress, necklace, and directions to meet him down by the pool. I walked in between a candlelit walkway to Niraj waiting for me by the pool and he said to me," Will you be a pain in my ass forever?'

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
I can say the least stressful part was my makeup. Rakhee was the best, she used her calm demeanor to calm all of us down. Rama our videographer used his charm to make us all laugh in stressful portions of the wedding.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
My wedding dress started as a vision because of mother. She saved her reception sari from 42 years ago, and we used that sari to make a blouse for myself. The contrasting color was mint and my bridal party was adorned in mint through and through. It looked awesome in pictures.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
Going to India was the most enjoyable part! I hadn't been back for 21 years. I loved everything about it and buying literally everything I touched and sharing that whole experience with my sister.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
The wedding had a great vibe. We didn't focus much of the other things except for dancing, food, and drinks. We danced a lot and had great performances.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Seeing my dad weep when it was Doli time. I didn't expect anyone to feel sad because I was living away for so long already. But seeing my family have tears in their eyes, made me cry as well. We were all together at that moment.

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
The dance was choreographed by my nieces and nephews. They chose all my favorite songs over the years and danced for a whole 10 minutes of intense bhangra. I was the happiest Aunt, with tears of joy.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Just relax! The day goes by quickly and no one's going to remember the small stuff, and it is out of your control anyway.

See you in a bit for more glam and charm from our brides!

Bakersfield, CA Indian Wedding by Rama Photo Video

We are in the middle of the week, ladies, and it is time to recharge those glam batteries! For that, we know exactly what you need. You guessed it! Another featured wedding bash to get our inspo going. Today, coming from the always sunny state of California, we have Monia & Niraj's grand celebration. Our Maharani was truly looking flawless for her big day. No wonder why Raja Niraj fell head over heels for her! Can you blame him? Our great friends from Contourversie assisted the dazzling bride with the hair and makeup, kudos to them for embellishing her even more, true masters of their craft as you will see in today's gallery. For the main ceremony, our couple chose an elegant color palette that just blew me away. Champagne, wine, and tones of mint made this couple look absolutely stunning! Maharani Monia was even wearing a custom piece done with her mother's 42-year-old reception sari! Incredible energies surrounding this nuptials for sure! Stick around for part one of this lovely spree and get inspired, ladies! The awesome pictures come to us thanks to Rama Photo Video, and they would like for us to get started with all the browsing!

Florham Park, NJ Indian Wedding by Studio KSD

After a gorgeous and glittering ceremony at the Brooklake Country Club, our couple was officially husband and wife. It was all laughter and joy down there and no less, a love voyage had just begun! We know for a fact that one of the most exciting parts of weddings is of course, the celebrations that come after. None like a Maharanis to bring to life all the ravishing glam that goes along at the receptions. Maharani Jasminder wore a deep navy blue lengha with golden features all over it for the night time. The lucky Raja Amol rocked an elegantly classic black tuxedo that made him look absolutely neat. No wonder our bride fell head over heels! Let me tell you, this couple looked like straight out of a story from the One Thousand and One Nights book. Today's gorgeous images come thanks to our dear friends from Studio KSD, who as we have seen multiple times before, are absolute masters of their craft through their lense. So here you have it, dolls, the full gallery of Jasminder & Amol's nuptials has arrived. Yes, sir!

Amol and I took a last minute trip to California and stayed in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Even though it was a fairly last minute trip, the planner-mode in me took over and planned every aspect of the vacation. Little did I know, my soon to be fiancé, Amol, was trying to plan something special of his own! Usually, when we are on vacation, Amol and I like to run through the local town/neighborhood to explore the area. Carmel-by-the-Sea was no exception, and it is the perfect place to do so with its picturesque houses along the beach.  As we were getting ready to go for an early morning run, Amol kept trying to convince me to take a shower and do my hair. I kept saying, “Why would anyone do that before a run!” I decided to at least look somewhat presentable because I  knew I'd ask him to take a ton of pictures of us since we had plans to run along Pebble Beach. As we were running I took a bunch of pictures on my phone, but once we arrived at the beach I wanted my real camera to take a picture on the beach. Amol had conveniently offered to hold it in his backpack that he took along with him.  As I was gazing towards the water, Amol was rustling around in his backpack for my camera, but when I turned around it wasn't the camera he was holding, it was the ring! Next thing you know, he was down on one knee! Of course, I said YES!

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.

Venue: Brooklake Country Club - Everyone was AMAZING! Peter and his staff really went above and beyond to make our day so special. The service, space, every one helped to make the night perfect! Catering: Rasoi Catering - Working with Sagar and his team was great. Our guests LOVED the food! Everyone commented that all the dishes were top notch and extremely flavorful! Bridal Makeup: Pauline Nobles - Pauline really made me feel flawless! I felt so beautiful. I loved how she transformed my look for the reception and I received so many compliments the entire night about my hair and makeup!! Decor: Niral Decor – Nirali and her husband were so sweet and kind and worked with us each step of the way! DJ: MC Pervez was SO GOOD! He really knew how to work for the crowd, get everyone on the dance floor, but most importantly made us, as the bride and groom feel special! Mehndhi: Henna by Pallavi - Pallavi is such a hardworking, creative, and kind artist.  She spent hours doing my bridal henna and helped to calm me down when things were getting hectic. Her intricate designs really matched my style and I loved how the designs came out!

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
My parents and I went to India to get my wedding outfits. It felt so surreal going, because that last time I was in India, was for my sister's wedding, almost 8 years earlier. We went to a lot of different shops to browse around and even took some long road trips to look for the perfect outfit. I wanted to go with the classic red look for my ceremony. My mom was very influential in helping to pick out my ceremony lengha and I have to admit, Moms are always right! It was perfect. As for the reception outfit, I didn't really have anything specific in mind, but I knew from the minute I tried on my reception outfit, it was the one that would make me look and feel like a princess, and it really did!

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
One of the most enjoyable parts of wedding planning was getting creative and seeing everything come together at the end.  Even though Amol and I had been dating for so long, wedding planning also helped us learn more about each other and what was important to each. In the end, we felt so accomplished getting it all together!

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
The food from Rasoi!

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Amol and I decided to get Multicolor LED foam glow sticks but weren't sure when we would end up using them.  For most of the night, we had people on the dance floor but there was a brief period after dinner that was quiet.  We knew it was time for the glow sticks! We brought them out and everyone got re-energized and we had a packed dance floor! We loved this moment because it got all of our friends and family together and we all had so much fun dancing the night away!

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
It can be hard to accept but not everything will not go as expected. However, in the end, you will have one of the most fun nights of your life! No one will notice the little things that may not have gone exactly as planned! Enjoy every moment and as long as you have fun it was all worth it! And don't forget to SMILE!!

See you tomorrow for more!
