Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
Our three-day wedding extravaganza took place at the beautiful Paradisus Playa del Carmen resort in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, during Cinco de Mayo weekend. Since our wedding weekend took place during Cinco de Mayo, we appropriately themed first night, Welcome Party,a Mexican Fiesta! We used bright floral décor to play up the stunning backdrop of the tropical environment. The night concluded with an authentic Mexican folklore dance performance.

The second night was the Sangeet, and many of our guests had never been exposed to any sort of Indian wedding festivities. However, they were fully immersed themselves within the Indian culture from dressing in festive Indian garb, to dancing the night away to Bollywood tunes; having the time of their lives!  Our bridal party, friends and family all gave stellar dance performances which we will remember for a lifetime. When it came to décor, I wanted to set the mood by using a peacock palette with gorgeous tones of purple, teal, and royal blue.

The third and most important day was our ceremony and reception. Our ceremony took place on the Gabi Bridge against the backdrop of beautiful ocean. I wanted to keep an ultra-modern and chic look for ceremony and wedding, by using clear acrylic table, chairs, and gazebo, and all-white floral decor.  Our ceremony was inter-faith and combined rituals from both my Muslim faith, and my husband’s Jewish faith. After a sentimental and emotional ceremony (not a dry eye in the house!), we kept the celebration going at the Gabi Club where we had the most beautiful reception, and where all 150 of our guests burned up the dance floor!

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
They loved being able to dress up for the Sangeet night! They also loved seeing all the cultural elements of the wedding and that it was an inter-faith wedding.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
My husband's vows, not a dry eye in the house!

Amazing wasn't it? More to come!

Playa del Carmen, Mexico Indian Fusion Wedding by Novia Mia Photography

Welcome back, dolls! Today, it is our absolute pleasure to share this amazingly grand and sun-blessed union coming from Playa del Carmen. Our lovebirds decided to tie the knot the weekend of Cinco de Mayo, so day one of the three-day glam binge was everything related to Mexico's culture. Going from the colorful decor to the vivid atmosphere, the local celebration gave that perfect touch of fun to the spree. Day two arrived and it was time for the classic Sangeet. The Paradisus Playa del Carmen was at its very best and so was our couple rocking their traditional Indian attires. Everything was amazing, music, laughter, love, and family were just some of the ingredients of what was that unique day. Lucky for us, our amazing and creative friends from Novia Mia Photography were there at all times to capture with their lenses, all the glitter and stunning style of this pair. More details of the celebrations prior to the big day? Well, head down to our gallery and join us in all the daydreaming.

Santa Barbara, CA Indian Wedding by Lin & Jirsa Photography

After our couple went through all the rituals, including the amazing Baraat thanks to Enchanted Carriages, and the ceremony was over, the now newlyweds knew exactly what time it was. Party time, of course! But we know our couples can't handle all the hustle and bustle all by themselves. For this reason, the always on point team from Marigold Company made their presence and assisted with the planning and the gorgeous design of the spree along with the in house coordinator from the Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort. The duo crafted the most amazing event for Justina & Kevin and as we will see, it was all things glamorous and glittering. Seriously, the images from Lin & Jirsa Photography are so eloquent that you can almost hear and feel the music and lighting decor from the ravishing team from Fusion Sounds! That is not all, want to see the rest of this mesmerizing celebration of love? Check part two of today's gallery and have a look!

A feature that we just can't live without and is one of our favorites, is, of course, the gorgeous outfits the brides choose to wear. Each an every one of them reflects the different personalities and tastes of the Maharanis and there are some designs that are absolutely breathtaking. Maharani Justina is one of those brides that knows exactly what looks good on her and the style she chose was a queen like dream! For the Mehndi ceremony, the beautiful emerald green with gold and coral details ensemble truly stood out. We are loving it! The way it matched with Raja Kevin's sherwani left us totally speechless, these two truly know about style! The talented Dolled Up By Lulu worked her magic and assisted the bride with the hair and makeup and dazzling is the word to describe her work! Gorgeous! The quintessential ruby and burgundy saree for the main ceremony completed the grandiosity of this Maharani's vision. Lucky for us our friends from Lin & Jirsa Photography were there to capture everything that went on at the Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort, so stick around for the gallery of today and join us one more time!

Garden Grove, CA Indian Wedding by Gary Coelho Photography

These two lovebirds, Nirvi & Neil, sure know the meaning of the word "style". Their gorgeous vision is for sure a beautiful display of the love they share, so much that you can truly tell from the pictures of Gary Coelho Photography! The Hyatt Regency Orange County had a great ambiance for the reception and the energy was so full of love and joy. The guests were sure they were about to have fun all night long thanks to 3D Sounds, who brought the ravishing beats to put everyone into the dancing state we all love so much. So amazing! What was also amazing was the beautiful wardrobe our newlyweds chose for the gala. Maharani Nirvi was looking drop dead gorgeous of course! She rocked a light maroon lengha skirt with a teal saree top and the entire ensemble was just too much. Seriously, when a Maharani ties the knot, expect grandiosity! A grand wedding is exactly what we have for your beautiful selves today, dolls, so click here for part two of this unique Indian wedding celebration! Let's go!
