Florham Park, NJ Indian Wedding by Studio KSD

We know you missed us during your well deserved weekend, ladies! So it is time to kick start a new week of love celebrations and ravishing parties that only our Maharanis are able to pull off. Today, coming from Florham Park in New Jersey, we have Jasminder & Amol's quintessential Indian wedding bash! The Brooklake Country Club lent itself to witness our lovebirds tie the knot and what a wonderful ceremony that was. The flowers and decoration were crafted by Nirali Decor and we are absolutely loving the overall Hindu and South Asian vibes and energy of the spree. The day began early for our bride. After the outdoor photo shoot with her soon to be husband and the lovely chartreuse lengha the bridesmaids wore, it was time to head down to the venue for the main ceremony. Maharani Jasminder showed up wearing this beautiful ruby lengha with golden features that sure made her look like the eastern princess she is. Flawless Beauty by Pauline certainly did an amazing job dolling our bride up! Head to today's gallery by Studio KSD for more!

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
Amol and I took a last minute trip to California and stayed in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Even though it was a fairly last minute trip, the planner-mode in me took over and planned every aspect of the vacation. Little did I know, my soon to be fiancé, Amol, was trying to plan something special of his own! Usually, when we are on vacation, Amol and I like to run through the local town/neighborhood to explore the area. Carmel-by-the-Sea was no exception, and it is the perfect place to do so with its picturesque houses along the beach.  As we were getting ready to go for an early morning run, Amol kept trying to convince me to take a shower and do my hair. I kept saying, “Why would anyone do that before a run!” I decided to at least look somewhat presentable because I  knew I'd ask him to take a ton of pictures of us since we had plans to run along Pebble Beach. As we were running I took a bunch of pictures on my phone, but once we arrived at the beach I wanted my real camera to take a picture on the beach. Amol had conveniently offered to hold it in his backpack that he took along with him.  As I was gazing towards the water, Amol was rustling around in his backpack for my camera, but when I turned around it wasn't the camera he was holding, it was the ring! Next thing you know, he was down on one knee! Of course, I said YES!

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
Venue: Brooklake Country Club - Everyone was AMAZING! Peter and his staff really went above and beyond to make our day so special. The service, space, every one helped to make the night perfect! Catering: Rasoi Catering - Working with Sagar and his team was great. Our guests LOVED the food! Everyone commented that all the dishes were top notch and extremely flavorful! Bridal Makeup: Pauline Nobles - Pauline really made me feel flawless! I felt so beautiful. I loved how she transformed my look for the reception and I received so many compliments the entire night about my hair and makeup!! Decor: Niral Decor – Nirali and her husband were so sweet and kind and worked with us each step of the way! DJ: MC Pervez was SO GOOD! He really knew how to work for the crowd, get everyone on the dance floor, but most importantly made us, as the bride and groom feel special! Mehndhi: Henna by Pallavi - Pallavi is such a hardworking, creative, and kind artist.  She spent hours doing my bridal henna and helped to calm me down when things were getting hectic. Her intricate designs really matched my style and I loved how the designs came out!

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
My parents and I went to India to get my wedding outfits. It felt so surreal going, because that last time I was in India, was for my sister's wedding, almost 8 years earlier. We went to a lot of different shops to browse around and even took some long road trips to look for the perfect outfit. I wanted to go with the classic red look for my ceremony. My mom was very influential in helping to pick out my ceremony lengha and I have to admit, Moms are always right! It was perfect. As for the reception outfit, I didn't really have anything specific in mind, but I knew from the minute I tried on my reception outfit, it was the one that would make me look and feel like a princess, and it really did!

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
One of the most enjoyable parts of wedding planning was getting creative and seeing everything come together at the end.  Even though Amol and I had been dating for so long, wedding planning also helped us learn more about each other and what was important to each. In the end, we felt so accomplished getting it all together!

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
The food from Rasoi!

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Amol and I decided to get Multicolor LED foam glow sticks but weren't sure when we would end up using them.  For most of the night, we had people on the dance floor but there was a brief period after dinner that was quiet.  We knew it was time for the glow sticks! We brought them out and everyone got re-energized and we had a packed dance floor! We loved this moment because it got all of our friends and family together and we all had so much fun dancing the night away!

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
It can be hard to accept but not everything will not go as expected. However, in the end, you will have one of the most fun nights of your life! No one will notice the little things that may not have gone exactly as planned! Enjoy every moment and as long as you have fun it was all worth it! And don't forget to SMILE!!

You can't miss part two, Maharanis!

Monmouth Junction, NJ Indian Wedding by Ishan Fotografi

Rena & Christopher's celebration surely left us wanting more. Bet we are not the only ones! Wait no longer, dolls, part two of this love-fueled jubilee has arrived! Part one showed us some of the moments prior to the ceremony and the ceremony itself. After our lovely bride Rena accepted to spend the rest of her life with our lucky Raja Christopher, the lovebirds had to celebrate the new chapter with their loved ones. Of course, our brides want only the best for their family and friends, so they recruited Pierre's Of South Brunswick to bring the cake delights they are known for and dazzle everyone with the treats. 07 Event Group had in their hands the magic sounds that can never be absent from these celebrations. Guests were definitely up for the exclusive treats only our brides are able to deliver. Once again, Ishan Fotografi was all things busy and ready, trying to hold the need for dancing and taking the pictures that we have been daydreaming about. So, ladies, join Rena & Christopher and us, on part two of today's featured gallery! You don't want to miss it.

Monmouth Junction, NJ Indian Wedding by Ishan Fotografi

Friday is here, and before you go into weekend mode, Maharanis, we have yet another ravishing spree! This time, we head down to Monmouth Junction in New Jersey for Rena & Christopher's traditional but modern nuptials. I was blown by our Maharani's lengha design, its color was this dark tone of maroon that was just so elegant. When it comes to color palettes, nothing like a true Maharani to always chose what fits best. The skilled team from BEAUT By FAR found a gorgeous muse in Maharani Rena and assisted her with hair and makeup. Seriously, a dazzling bride indeed! Our lucky Raja Christopher rocked a white sherwani with wine tones that for sure, swept the bride of her feet as he arrived in his yellow muscle car for the big moment. It was a beautiful ceremony filled with all the special things that make weddings like this, a total success. All of this happening as the team from Ishan Fotografi captured all of the details for you to daydream, brides at home. Today's gallery is ready!

Redondo Beach, CA Indian Wedding by Pine & Sea Photography

We are back, ladies! Part two of Dharmesh and Jessica's dreamy nuptials has arrived! Like we witnessed in part one, our lovebirds were looking enchanting, love was flying all over the place around them. So romantic! The heartfelt ceremony was absolutely beautiful and it was attended by all the special people you want around! What more can you ask for? After an evening of heavy emotions and glittering attires, our newlyweds headed down to the always incredible Catalina Room in Redondo Beach. A dreamlike venue that housed the family and friends of our couple for the reception. Addi’s Tandoor and their fine selection of Indian cuisine pampered everyone's palate and gave them that extra something that you need whenever dancing comes at the sight. All of this as the crew from Sunseri's handled the bar and drinks, Indian wedding style! A loving shout out to Pine & Sea Photography who captured all the sparkly images we are about to see. Redondo Beach, CA Indian Wedding by Pine & Sea Photography

Happy Thursday, ladies! Today, it is Dharmesh & Jessica's turn to bring their love celebration to our screens and we just adore fusion weddings. The process of merging two cultures, bounded by their commitment, is truly delightful. It races my heart when a feature like this comes and see all the extra attention put into the details of both cultures. It gives me so many ideas! I'm sure you as well, Maharanis, so let's get going with today's bash at the Catalina Room. For starters, our lovely bride Jessica was wearing a traditional and elegantly minimalistic wine lengha, with all the classic features we all love. She was looking amazing! Also, completing the ensemble, we can't forget about a must feature in all of our Maharani's attires. The mehndi design was created by Henna Traditions, and what a design that was! Simple but extremely elegant. Raja Dharmesh was all things stylish and elegant wearing a traditional beige and wine sherwani, totally matching with our Maharani, as it should be! Let me tell you, this first installment will surely leave you wanting for more. But worry not, dear brides-to-be at home, we have you covered all day, every day with the glam and charm of our ravishing Maharanis. Join us and take a look at today's featured gallery, thanks to Pine & Sea Photography!
