Alexandria, VA Indian Wedding by Shahi Photography

Be our guest! Anita and Alkesh embarked in a lifetime journey and to celebrate, the newlyweds threw a magnificent wedding bash! The ballroom of the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center bedecked with a flamboyant wedding stage and the sweethearts' table décor was inspired by Disney’s Beauty and the Beast's magical fairy-tale! All this magical atmosphere was created by Dharma Events who teamed with Amphora Bakery, making the evening even more magical creating a beautiful wedding cake that displayed the enchanted red rose as the cake topper. So adorable! The whole place was full of guests who enjoyed the evening with games, dances and food. Radiant in her bridal finery, Maharani Anita took care of her guests as well as her charming new husband Alkesh, who intentionally selected a suit and bow tie to match the bride’s color outfit! The couple’s great style and dance moves made them the stars of the night as they had the most romantic first dance in the middle of a mist worthy of a fairy-tale. When it comes to throwing a fairy-tale wedding, the accomplished wedding planner Lucky Events always takes a step forward and fortunately, they did for this event and once again gave proof of their talent by orchestrating this fabulous soiree! Don’t miss a moment of these lovebirds’ biggest event by going to our full gallery by Shahi Photography!

Alexandria, VA Indian Wedding by Shahi Photography

Welcome back dolls! As the first steps to their matrimony, Anita and Alkesh had a sweet pre-wedding photo session to have their love captured in a picture-perfect sunny day, the images by Shahi Photography show how gorgeous these two are! Sigh! Our two loving souls offered an impressive Mehndi night before saying "I do"!  This pair really were the “lucky ones” since they had Lucky Events from the beginning of the planning process, their star team really know how to make any wedding a spectacular event and this gorgeous Mehndi was certainly not the exception! The kaleidoscopic décor of the stage backdrop by the creative team of Dharma Events served as the perfect scenario for the bride and groom to pose for the camera of Shahi Photography, their talented wedding photography team portrayed the cute couple in their gorgeous attire. Bride Anita flaunted a traditional and magnificent long braid festooned with jasmine flowers that she accessorized with a beautiful gold jewelry set that made her look absolutely resplendent! The celebration included lively dances performed by the couple’s relatives and friends as a beautiful way to pay tribute to Anita and Alkesh’s love. See more exceptional images in our full gallery!

New Hyde Park, NY Bengali-Muslim Wedding by Ajit Singh Photograhy

Rare times we see a big pre-wedding festivity as the one Ishrat and Syadur held as part of their amazing wedding celebrations! The Castle Royale opened its doors for all the couple’s loved ones to attend the Gaye Holud night, which was completely filled with joyful dances and fun! I can just imagine that the guests were blown away by all the lanterns and drapery! The production for this event was impeccable thanks to the creative touch of Royal Charms’ team!  Two thumbs up for them and for the aesthetic tents in the center of the hall, excellent idea for an Arabian style event! In this occasion, Maharani Ishrat wore a classic flower jewelry set and a sweet floral crown and groom Syadur went for a bright yellow outfit that made him really stand out amongst all the guests! After the official inauguration of the wedding festivities, the bride and groom headed to the beautiful gardens and accommodations of The Inn at New Hyde Park where the cameras of  Ajit Singh Photography were ready to take the best photos of the bride and groom! For her special photo shoot and wedding day, Bridal Rang Samiha brought the best out of the bride, who opted for a pearl pink dupatta and choli that perfectly suited her red lehenga skirt and the groom wore a beautiful red embroidered sherwani. This well-dressed duo was in perfect sync and ready to say "I Do"! See more of this utterly delightful wedding in our full gallery!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
Sy always had a lot of responsibilities on his shoulder being the eldest and growing up without a dad he was a dad to his younger brother and sister and I saw how deeply he cared for them and his mom. I fell in love with his selflessness and I knew I wanted to be the person for him that he can always count on and lean on, someone that can finally take care of him, someone that can always make him happy.

I always had a vision and it was all executed very well by my planner and decorator Hasina Ahmed from Royal Charms.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I knew I wanted to do the traditional red, at first I was focusing on all red. Then I saw Anushka in this dress and I knew I this was the one!

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The most enjoyable part was that Sy and I did this together. We had so much love and support from our friends and families that we felt we were being celebrated the whole time.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Many people raved about our selection of food. Luckily our venue included many different appetizer station which provided a variety of food options for our guests.

Newark, Delaware Indian Wedding by Studio Nine Photography

What’s a wedding without family? In the end, a wedding is all about bringing two families together and creating a new one! Thankfully, Meera and Ashish’s families did more than that, as they all stepped up and contributed with all their effervescence and good vibes to the wedding event! The groom’s side helped to set the tone for a vibrant baraat where groom Ashish gave us a lecture in style with an all-white outfit and sunglasses that made him look as a true Indian prince while making his grand entrance! Our charming bride Meera went for a soft ombre peach color lehenga-choli that harmonized with her prince outfit. The planning process is key to create an unforgettable day. Super talented Kaleidoscope Weddings provided their top-notch services to make sure the bride and groom had everything they envisioned for their wedding day. The grounds of the spectacular Deerfield Country Club were destined to hold the most romantic outdoor Hindu ceremony. The most alluring mandap structure was built to serve as the ceiling for the celebrant to preside the solemn ceremony where our Maharani and Rajah exchanged garlands and their wedding vows! This pictorial setting was exploited by Studio Nine Photography + Cinema to capture a timeless pre-wedding photo session of the happy couple. See how this lovely couple pulled off the most romantic and elegant outdoor nuptials by going to the gallery by Studio Nine Photography + Cinema.

East Brunswick, NJ Indian Wedding by Joie Elie Photography & Cinematography

Please come and join me for the most exquisite Bengali wedding I have seen! The elegant and romantic wedding of Sebanti and Aniruddha was an absolute fairy tale! The couple took their vows in the beautiful Park Château in New Jersey which is a complete visual treat! The groom Aniruddha arrived to the ceremony in an impressive vintage white car with his joyous side. Shortly after that, he was welcomed by his soon to be mother-in-law. Meanwhile, Sebanti observed the procession from her balcony ready in her beautiful red and gold silk Banarasi saree and gave the crowd a glimpse of her gorgeous wedding look. The beautiful chapel seemed to be out of a literary passage and it was the perfect setting for this pair to take their vows. The bride was carefully carried to the mandap by her male relatives where she finally encountered with her Rajah. Such a sweet moment! All the candid and meaningful moments were captured by Joie Elie Photography & Cinematography who beautifully shot and filmed this heart-warming affair, we have their wedding highlight available on our Video Blog today! Since all their events were held at the same venue there was no stress of moving all guest around and thankfully the wedding fairy, Mita Events, worked her magic and made the entire experience as flawless as possible for all the attendees. This union really made my heart sigh! Go to the full gallery and also get hitched by this classy Bengali love story.
