Thursday is finally here, darlings! And we have a story worthy of a novel. The celebration of one's true love should never be taken lightly, and Julie & Parth knew this. Their wholesome ceremony was the peak of romance with not only the fabulous couple head-over-heels with each other but a romantic venue perfect for commemorating the beginning of a lifetime together. Maharanis, the phenomenal Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort, offers a splendid seaside site and gorgeous outdoor terraces with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. What better witnesses of your love than your loved ones and the ocean itself? This celebration was magnificent, with the perfect balance between traditions and modernism. Now, ladies, get ready to be mesmerized by our Maharani's unimaginable elegance! Idalis Alamina Beauty's skills highlighted Julie's natural beauty with the excellent work done for her hairstyle and makeup. The bride's attire and mehndi art combined flawlessly, too. Maharani Designs' stunning decor had the same color scheme as Julie's charming white dress and impressive golden lengha. The handsome groom, Parth, dazzled everyone with his sensational sherwani. I was left speechless, sweethearts. The details on their apparel deserve a standing ovation from all of us! Additionally, our couple delighted their guests' palate with cuisine from Aashirwad Indian Restaurant, and sugar lovers enjoyed treats from Annabelle's Cookies and More. I know everyone will definitely treasure this day, especially the sweet Julie & Parth, who called the perfect team to take some breathtaking shots of the most memorable moments of their big day. They are Namesake Creative. This team's gorgeous pictures are available for you in this enchanting gallery. Maharanis, don't wait any longer. Go check it out to fall in love and be inspired!
How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
Parth and I met in December 2016 when I was visiting a friend in Chicago. We went out with a group of mutual friends and Parth and I somehow ended up in the same Uber. I started complaining about how my acid reflux was bothering me. Parth overhears from the front seat, turns around, and says “you want some TUMS?!” That’s when I knew he was the one. When he came to my hometown for a residency interview the following January, we went on our first date, had the time of our lives, and have been together ever since!

Parth spent months planning a week-long trip to Asheville for us. When we arrived, he told me that we would be taking a hiking trip the next morning, but I had to look nice because we were going to a fancy lunch afterwards. The next morning, we drove up a snowy mountain and Parth insisted we take the trail to the top of the mountain (even though it was snowing and we couldn't see a thing). When we finally arrived at the top, Parth got down on one knee and proposed! The next day, he took me to a cabin where I was surprised by both of our families to celebrate our engagement! It was the best week ever!
Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
As soon as we decided to start planning the wedding, I made a giant wedding checklist and excel spreadsheet. We prioritized finding major vendors such as the venue, planner, DJ, photo, and video. I contacted a designer in India for our wedding outfits because I knew that would take at least six months. I had our parents put together their guest lists while we started designing our save the dates. It was a lot of multitasking but the checklist and spreadsheet kept us on track!
How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I saved pictures of lehengas and wedding gowns I loved on Instagram and I made a Pinterest board. I knew I wanted to wear white/ivory because it felt the most bridal to me. I showed our Indian designer pictures of what I wanted and she made it happen. For my wedding gown, I went dress shopping in my hometown and didn’t really know what I loved until I tried on ~the one~. It was beautiful, comfortable, and sparkly!
Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
There were so many special moments but one of my favorites was when I saw Parth for the first time on the mandap. We had a first look in the morning, but when we were on the mandap, on the most beautiful day, surrounded by all of our loved ones — it just felt like a dream!
Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
