Cambridge, MD South Indian Wedding by Photographick Studios

Welcome back, dolls! After a gorgeous ceremony that united Varsha & Dhruv's lives for eternity, it was time to celebrate the milestone big time!  Our newlyweds knew they wanted the absolute best for their guests for the reception and that was indeed the case. The culinary wonders of Diya Bistro left them totally speechless, I tell you that, ready for all the dancing! Maharani Varsha changed attires and her night ensemble? Well, let's just say that Raja Dhruv's jaw was dropping! The Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay was vibing with these two for sure. I am totally loving the soft tones chosen for the decoration of the gala, so romantic and elegant at the same time! Kudos to the team from Imperial Decor! Seriously, ladies, you can't miss this full gallery that comes to us thanks to the delightful visual skills of Photographick Studios! Let's get to it!

San Jose, CA South Indian Wedding by Lin & Jirsa Photography

Remember Mona & Shashank's grand vision? Well, if you thought that our first installment showcased everything that went on at the San Jose Marriott, think twice because the incredible reception was as lavish and glamorous as the ceremony. Our amazingly talented friends from Lin & Jirsa Photography never disappoint and the pictures of today's gallery are the absolute proof of their artistry. A loving shout out to them! It is also no secret that we are totally loving Maharani Mona. After the ceremony, these two lovebirds changed attires and it was time for some serious celebration. The team from Desi Jammers Entertainment was delivering the most ravishing beats around to put everyone into the dancing state we all love so much and it is safe to say that the party was just beginning! The bride came out looking out of this world. A royal blue saree for a royal Indian princess, indeed! The attire was just so chic that I almost can't believe it! Seriously, ladies, you can't miss this feature and the wonderful gallery! Join us one more time and get those dreamy ideas going!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
Shashank and I met 10 years ago at UC Irvine, at first I don't think either one of us realized where we would end up. Our relationship was long distance for the majority of the time after graduating from UC Irvine. I knew he was the one very early on in our relationship, but what solidified it was the support and encouragement he gave me while we were long distance. The last year before he proposed to me, I was out of state for the majority of the time on my rotations and Shashank came and helped me move into each place I went to, and came to visit me and made me feel like I had a piece of home with me.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
The proposal day was a day I will never forget! I thought Shashank and I were going out of town to celebrate his birthday. Shashank said he booked us a couple's massage however when we went to the spa the lady said it was only a massage for me and I was so confused, but I thought maybe he just surprised me with a massage, because I had recently finished up all my exams and submitted my information to get my board certification for Optometry. After my massage, I got back to our hotel room to see rose petals directing me to a dress, jewelry, purse, shoes laid out for me on the bed. There were notes throughout the room, one of them mentioned, "be ready by 6:15 pm, your special transportation crew will be here to pick you up". When I got ready I heard a knock on my door and it was my mom and sisters ready to pick me up. It was so meaningful and important for me to them being there with me. They drove me down to Pebble Beach where Shashank was waiting for me. He walked me down near the water and had hired photographers that looked like tourists to capture everything. Before Shashank was even done with his speech to ask me to be his wife I kept saying YES YES YES, I was so ready to be his fiance and eventually his wife!

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
I think our guests loved our decorations by Raofactor, so many people were shocked when they saw our mandap, it was so neat that everyone danced under it during the reception. At the reception, we had mini donuts made by Swell Little Donuts and so many people loved those as well.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
So ever since Shashank proposed to me, all I was determined to do was to have an entrance video that captured our humor and love for one another. I wanted the video to be Bollywood theme so I created a script and we brought it to life. The video came out better than expected and we had some bloopers. It was so hard for me to keep that entrance video as a secret, but it was totally worth it because all the guests were not expecting that and they were just laughing the entire time. We played the video before we came out of the reception and it was a hit!

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Please enjoy all aspects of your wedding. I feel like with our wedding although we had condensed it down to cut out some events I was still overwhelmed and stressed out until the reception. Then, before I knew it, the whole weekend was over, I am so thankful that our wedding highlight video came out, it's so great that I can relive that weekend, but in retrospect I wish I just let go and enjoyed every aspect from the beginning because the reality is, there is only so much you do, so just sit back and soak in every moment because the wedding will fly by so fast. San Jose, CA South Indian Wedding by Lin & Jirsa Photography

Hey there, glam seeking dolls! Today we have a very special feature that is the perfect example of what a real Maharani is all about. This Indian beauty truly was one stylish bride and we are so loving her chic and elegant vibe. Rosheen Ahmadi was recruited by Maharani Mona to assist with bridal hair & makeup and the result was absolutely to die for! The classic red and gold bridal outfit looked heavenly on her as she patiently waited for the main moment of the day to arrive. So romantic! Raja Shashank, on the other hand, rocked this champagne sherwani with details in gold and burgundy that turned him into the South Indian prince our lovely bride had dreamed of. The San Jose Marriott was the perfect place for these two lovebirds to unite their lives and families to celebrate their big time, just like only real Rajas and Maharanis do! So, looking for a real Indian wedding treat? Well, look no more because our featured gallery of today, thanks to Lin and Jirsa Photography, will leave you absolutely stunned. Let's get going!

Garden Grove, CA Indian Wedding by Gary Coelho Photography

These two lovebirds, Nirvi & Neil, sure know the meaning of the word "style". Their gorgeous vision is for sure a beautiful display of the love they share, so much that you can truly tell from the pictures of Gary Coelho Photography! The Hyatt Regency Orange County had a great ambiance for the reception and the energy was so full of love and joy. The guests were sure they were about to have fun all night long thanks to 3D Sounds, who brought the ravishing beats to put everyone into the dancing state we all love so much. So amazing! What was also amazing was the beautiful wardrobe our newlyweds chose for the gala. Maharani Nirvi was looking drop dead gorgeous of course! She rocked a light maroon lengha skirt with a teal saree top and the entire ensemble was just too much. Seriously, when a Maharani ties the knot, expect grandiosity! A grand wedding is exactly what we have for your beautiful selves today, dolls, so click here for part two of this unique Indian wedding celebration! Let's go!
