Morristown, NJ Indian Fusion Wedding by Pandya Photography

After the gorgeous ceremony happened and Susruta & Ramsey tied the knot for eternity, it was time to celebrate the huge milestone India style. You know what that means! Incredible dances, lavish and colorful fashion and of course, lots and lots of families! For the reception gala at The Madison Hotel, the bride went the extra mile with her saree. Seriously, it is one of the most beautiful ones I have seen so far, and that is saying a lot! Just take a look at the mix between that gorgeous maroon and the light brown! Truly a princess for the books! And what about the neat Raja with his military uniform? He was ready to celebrate with his lovely bride, the most important day of their lives. So romantic! So, ladies, today's gallery, thanks to Pandya Photography, is one you can't miss! See you on the dance floor!

Florham Park, NJ Indian Wedding by House of Talent Studio

We know that with the first installment of this wedding, there was a lot of sighing going on! Now, we have everything that happened at the gorgeous reception and believe me, it was absolutely grand and elegant, just as you would expect out of a South Asian couple! The Brooklake Country Club was totally vibing with this celebration and no less! When you have the team from Amplifire Entertainment bringing the house down with all the latest Bollywood and classic tunes, what can go wrong? Such an amazing couple had to have an amazing reception and that was indeed the case! Lucky for us, our friends from House of Talent Studio are all things creative and came up with a gallery to daydream about! So, ladies, don't go anywhere because the party is just starting! See you there!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
I met Vishal on Coffee meets bagel (the dating app). I knew he was the one when every time we went on a date, it always consisted of laughter and smiles and we would always end up on 12hr dates.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
February 2nd, 2019 is forever one of our most memorable days, it's the day we decided to start our new chapter together. On February 2nd, Vishal asked me to become his wife. The proposal took place at a beautiful restaurant called Palma in the West Village of Manhattan. The restaurant was filled with fresh roses all along the walls and it felt like a garden in Italy. We were having brunch right before Vishal's 30th birthday celebrations when Vishal decided to get down on one knee in the middle of the rose garden restaurant and asked me to be his life partner.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
From our engagement, I had 4 months to plan a wedding. Right after I got proposed I planned a trip to India where my family and I got all our wedding outfits. I am from Long Island and Vishal is from New Jersey so at first, it was tough to figure out where to have the wedding. I always wanted to get married in a temple so we got married in the Balaji Temple in Bridgewater New Jersey. Since I was getting married in Jersey it made sense to have the reception there as well. The first time I saw my reception venue Brooklake Country Club I fell in love with the scenic beauty and the beautiful ballroom with big windows. Since both the wedding and reception were in NJ we decided to have sangeet on Long Island at Akbar Restaurant,  Hair and makeup were easy to pick because I needed someone who did south Indian bridal and so I went with Shahnaz Husain Franchise Salon NY (Nina and her daughter) who have done many south Indian brides. AS for the decor I wanted to do Rustic gold and blush pink colors for the reception and wanted cherry blossom theme and this was all done with Abhishek Decorators from NJ, I came across them because my Husband heard about them through friends and family. Abhishek and team were very nice and help me execute my vision.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
Since this was a south Indian wedding where I am Telugu and Vishal is Tamil although we were both south Indian our cultures were very different. I had 2 outfit changes and 3 entrances during the wedding: I had my pink and gold broader saree for my first entrance Telugu tradition) and for the first 35mins of the wedding. after 35min mins I had changed into VIshal' s cultures traditional saree made my second entrance and towards the last hour of the wedding, i changed to a white and pink saree which is Telugu traditional saree and had my last entrance. For my reception, I wanted pink and gold which was my theme for the reception.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
I would definitely say shopping, I got to go to Indian after 10yrs and it was nice seeing my family in India. I would also say food tasting as well.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
The guests loved the venue. During the reception first dance, we had dancing in the clouds effect and fireworks during the dance which they loved. We also had someone dress up in a bear costume come our towards the end of the reception as an entertainment factor and had a C02 gun as well. Also had glasses which had our hashtag #divsvishcomestrue

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
During the reception we did first look before we saw each other we read our love letters to one another and that was very special and I will forever remember the moment.

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
Sangeet - We did the Moroccan theme. Both sets of parents did dance performances, my father inlaw sang a couple of songs. The bridesmaids and the groomsmen performed with us. Reception: the theme was rustic gold and blush pink to highlight the summer and cherry blossom. We had speeches and a surprise skit after our first dance to pull all our guests onto the dance floor. it was a lot of fun.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
It is one of the most stressful things you will plan but as long as you and your significant support each other and both plan it together it will make you guys stronger. The wedding weekend you will have so much energy and your adrenaline will kick once which will make you have an unforgettable weekend.

Cambridge, MD Indian Wedding by Photographick Studios

After a gorgeous Indian ceremony with such a display of style, an equally grand traditional wedding and reception afterward were to be expected. The Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort Spa & Marina was looking at its very best to house Mithra & Jon and their loved ones and let me tell you, color and smiles were just flying all over the place. The bride came out looking like a dream. The traditional white gown with lacing details was a total highlight of the gala for so many reasons. The stunning fabric is just one of them. So amazing! And what about Raja Jon's neat burgundy tux? If that doesn't say style, few things would! I am totally loving all the symbology of this couple's vision, just the way it should be when you are uniting your ancestry with your significant other's! The reception as you could imagine was also this magic flair beautifully decorated by the team from Imperial Decor. Style at its finest! Pictures speak so eloquently, ladies, so head down to today's gallery thanks to Photographick Studios for all the details.
