New Hyde Park, NY Pakistani Wedding by KetaNuva Photography

For this darling New Hyde Park, NY couple, a fresh, airy wedding reception was in the cards. We adore Sumaiya and Zain’s portraits by KetaNuva Photography, which captured the couple’s loving and sophisticated relationship perfectly. How cute are the emotional first look portraits of this gorg duo? So adorable! The couple was dressed to the nines, and we’re loving the rich burgundy, champagne, and golden hues of their ensembles. Sumaiya was a radiant goddess in shimmering makeup and voluminous hair by Makeup by Waida. Some of our favorite photos from the weekend were the outdoor shots of the couple framed by gorgeous nature. We love wedding portraits for a number of reasons, but especially because when they occur, the couple can relieve themselves temporarily from the hustle and bustle of their wedding and get back to the basics of enjoying each other’s company and reflecting on how much they love each other. Plus, the photos will be timeless keepsakes for years to come. Sumaiya and Zain’s glam wedding reception at The Inn at New Hyde Park was lavishly decorated by Stylish Events and Floral Explosion with decadent golden decor and florals. The ambiance was pure royalty, and we can feel the romance buzzing through the air. Sumaiya shared some valuable advice with brides to be: Don't stress about your big day. Things will eventually fall into place. Live in the moment because that time will pass before you know it." Wise words! Make sure to peruse the full gallery by KetaNuva Photography. And we hope to share the live wedding footage by Fen Video with you all soon!

New Hyde Park, NY Pakistani Wedding by KetaNuva Photography

We’re thrilled to travel to New York to celebrate the Pakistani wedding of Sumaiya and Zain. Euphoria was spinning through the air as guests eagerly anticipated the lovebirds finally becoming husband and wife! The couple were ready to get the party started with their kick off mehndi celebration. For her party gear, gorgeous Sumaiya opted for a glowing violet and pink lehenga with blooming floral earrings. Maharanis, one of our fave wedding fashion trends is the bride adorning herself with tons of florals for her mehndi and sangeet. After all, there’s nothing prettier than the combo of fresh blooms + jewelry! Her hair and makeup was designed by Makeup by Waida who bestowed this bride with a bombshell beauty look. Guests were treated to a mesmerizing display of decor by Stylish Events and Floral Explosion, and we adore the mint and orange sherbert color combo used for this fun event. So unique and eye catching! The venue was immersed with the sounds of love, dancing, and laughter all night long. Our hearts are overflowing with joy for Sumaiya and Zain. KetaNuva Photography has all the memories perfectly preserved in our full gallery, so take a gander and relive all the happiness. We simply cannot wait to get our hands on all the live action footage by Fen Video to witness more beautiful moments!

Orange County, CA Indian Wedding by Matei Horvath Photography

Welcome back Maharanis! We’re pumped to share all the inside scoop on Khushali and Yash’s SoCal reception extravaganza. The event took place on Christmas Eve, and we couldn’t imagine a more magical way to celebrate the holidays. The ambiance in the room at the Hyatt Regency Orange County was one of utter romance and glamour from floor to ceiling. 2Create Designs outdid themselves with their transformation of the space to resemble something out of a fairytale. Our jaws dropped when we glimpsed the massive floral arrangements and glittering stage design. The decked out ballroom was a perfect reflection of the remarkable love that Khushali and Yash share. For the event, Maharani Khushali wore a sherbert orange gown that we adored for its chic playfulness! We don’t see many orange gowns on brides, so we appreciated the uniqueness of the look, as well as her sultry makeup and soft waves created by the artists at Beauty by Lishma. The couple’s program featured delightful speeches and dances, followed by mouthwatering catering by Jay Bharat. When Riamu Entertainment assembled onstage, guests rushed to the dance floor to show off their best moves. Take a look at the gallery by Matei Horvath Photography to revel in the beauty and jam packed dance floor at Khushali and Yash’s reception bash.

Orange County, CA Indian Wedding by Matei Horvath Photography

There’s something about SoCal Indian weddings that tug at our heartstrings. Khushali and Yash’s Orange County celebrations were no exception! Though the event took place around Christmas time, there wasn’t a cloud in the sky during their sun drenched festivities. We were transported to an Indian palace when viewing their ceremony space at Chinmaya Mission where an elaborate mandap and rich gold drapings were erected by Deepti’s Floral Designs & Mandaps for the couple’s nuptials. Khushali was dazzling in a royal white and red lehenga and pristine hair and makeup by Beauty by Lishma. Her kundan jewelry glittered during the ceremony, and she transfixed all with her beauty! Khushali and Yash’s traditional vows were heartfelt, and we teared up when witnessing Maharani Khushali embrace her family before exiting the venue with her new hubby. We’ve assembled a gallery with photos captured by the incredible Matei Horvath Photography for your enjoyment. Look through and gather so much inspiration for your own special day!

Boston, MA Indian Fusion Wedding by Melissa Robotti Photography

We're back with more exciting details from Lisa and Vamsee's festivities. After an emotional, tear filled Christian ceremony, Lisa slipped into a bedazzling red and green lehenga fit for a princess! Guests gasped as she floated down the aisle, glittering under the sunlight streaming into the State Room Boston venue. Vamsee couldn’t take his eyes off his ravishing bride, and they solidified their union with traditional Hindu vows under their fired hued mandap. After two beautiful ceremonies, the newlyweds and their guests were ready to get the party started! Lisa and Vamsee enlisted the incredible DJs from Murray Hill Talent to get the crowd amped up with their bouncing beats. As guests entered the ballroom, they were transported to a decadent wonderland with rich florals and decor created by Madison Floral and a mouthwatering cake whipped up by I Dream of Jeanne. We can’t get enough of Lisa and Vamsee's modern and chic celebrations captured by Melissa Robotti Photography. Each pic shows such beauty and joy and we can’t wait for you to look through the full gallery!

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.

We wanted to get married in the city we fell in love, and after looking at venues that would accommodate our complex wedding day details. When we saw the State Room we knew immediately that it was perfect. The view of the city was so impressive, that we were sure it would give our guests from out of the state and country a memory they would never forget.

I chose the Hair and Make-up artists that my sister-in-law had used in her wedding just a year and a half before. It was great to have some familiar vendors around during the morning of, and I love their work. They were so pleasant and fun to chat to!

I chose my wedding photographer, DJ, and florist from the list of recommended vendors provided by the State Room - and I'm so glad I did. All of them were amazing, flexible, and so talented.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?

The most enjoyable part of the planning process was getting to bring my families together. It was wonderful to see everyone learning about each other's culture, traditions, and religions. It brought us closer together and made our wedding day that much more special.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?

My guests said they loved how unique our wedding felt. They noticed how many personal touches we incorporated and how we closely intertwined the two cultures within our wedding ceremonies.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?

The vows were emotional! I didn't expect to cry, but hearing Vamsee recite the traditional American vows were so special. Then to follow up the vows with the saptapadi during the Indian ceremony was special as well.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?

Enjoy every minute of the planning process and your wedding day. Stressful moments will happen, but this time in your life will come and go, so enjoy it as much as you can!

So lovely! Have a wonderful Monday Maharanis!
