We've returned with the details on the sensational Hindu ceremony! Event architects Erganic Design coordinated everything from start to finish and provided all the exquisite wedding stationery, while Elegant Affairs Inc. was in charge of decor, transforming the de Seversky Mansion into Indian bride Paavana's dream come true! The Maharani's look was put together by the fabulous GlowZee, who not only gave her gorgeous hair and makeup, but also flawlessly styled her sari! Live thavil and nadaswaram musicans from MELA Arts Connect played in the baraat and at the ceremony as well; you can hear them in Artography's video on the Films blog! For the rest of the details, check out NylaGray Photography's photos in the full gallery!
Maharani Paavana on her wedding style:
"We really wanted a vintage, 1920s theme that would still unite the two days and the two religions/cultures - being rich and cohesive overall while still classy and elegant. The first day we envisioned as a burst of color; the second, art deco style with a live jazz band."
On the most magical moment of the wedding:
"Our first dance: we danced to 'World on a String' (at the dinner reception on Saturday); where I felt like a princess. Also, sitting and listening to the speeches was really moving for us."
On her favorite accessories:
"I wore jewelry from my mother both days - a yellow gold choker the first and a diamond choker the second, which I wore when I took off the bolero to wear the wedding dress strapless for the reception. It was a great transformation!"
Have an amazing day, Maharanis! We'll be back with another stellar wedding tomorrow!
