Parsippany, NJ Indian Fusion Wedding by KSD Weddings

Welcome to a day of love and luxury, Maharanis! Today we're heading to the East Coast with KSD Weddings for a fabulous fusion wedding in the heart of New Jersey. Our bride begins her glam and gorgeous day with a posh pamper sesh courtesy of KC Makeup by Karuna Chani and the results are princess perfect! With a bold red lip and kajal-lined eye, she is 100 percent ready to make a grand entrance! At the ceremony, our darling duo weds under a breezy lemon-chiffon mandap with a twinkling chandelier. Stunning! Pretty soon guests are greeting our newlyweds at their lavish reception where Moghul Caterers is offering a deluxe feast and snow white and turmeric yellow floral and decor are taking center stage. If you are totally smitten with this sensational film, then don't miss all the photographs of the event here

From the bride:

"I’m sure you hear this all the time, but honest to God, I absolutely LOVED all my vendors I had dream of my wedding for years and now that it was finally here, I put my heart into everything. I felt like I had a very good relationship with each of them during my planning process and all of them were very professional and attentive to our needs. Here is a breakdown of my remaining vendors I haven’t mentioned.

Sheraton, Parsippany:

I couldn’t have picked a better venue, from the 1st day, we went there to simply look at the venue to the day after the wedding brunch, we were well taken care of by Laurie Guerrero, Senior Catering Sales Manager and by Cleon Webster, the Sheraton Maître D'. I had several face to face meetings at the Sheraton, countless emails, and last minute texts at 4am the day of the wedding. There isn’t one thing I would change, everything was simply impeccable and flawless. All of the staff were very professional, polite, and tentative, trust me, on your big day, every little detail matters. I dealt with Laurie for everything leading up to the wedding, and Cleon the day of the wedding. Laurie was simply, perfect. She responded to every email in a timely matter and took care of any request. I would say, I’m a particular person and know what I want, and I was extremely happy with everything Laurie had done to take care of my big day. Thank you a million times over, Laurie! The actual big day, Cleon, hands down was my saving grace, this guy is absolutely, amazing. The day of my wedding, he was 150% hands on and took care of every request. I had so many guest come up to my family and I to specifically mention how wonderful Cleon was. Thank you a million times over, Cleon! For me overall the bar was raised very high at the Sheraton Parsippany, and I couldn’t imagine anything better for my big day. At the end of the day, you know what they say, every Princess deserves to get married in a castle!!!

Anderson Flowers:

I literally in a panic contacted Howard "Howie" from Anderson Flower the week of my wedding! I totally dropped the ball and forgot to order flowers for my wedding. He did an amazing job with everything and was at my wedding 2 hours before everything started to deliver the following things I had ordered; my wedding bouquet, (7) white cally lilly flowers for my Bridesmaids for when they walk down the aisle, (2) wedding garlands, (1) bharat garland, and kalagi for the groom. Howie was absolutely wonderful and with the stress of the wedding he was a breath of fresh air and took care of everything. He even sent me 20+ pictures of samples and I picked out exactly what I wanted and everything turned out picture perfect!

Moghul:

Before the dress, or was even engaged, I always knew I wanted Moghul to cater my wedding. Their reputation speaks for themselves, I worked with Betsy Thomas and Payal Mehta during the process and they both were fantastic. Every single guest at the wedding was stunned with the food. We had a traditional Hindu wedding and a fusion reception. My husband is Italian, therefore we had half Indian food and half American food. To say the food was simply perfect is an understatement. Our guest couldn’t believe the same chef nonetheless the same vendor cooked both the Indian food AND the American food. The entire process with Moghul was seamless, including our food tasting. We had a few minor adjustments for the chef and on the day of the wedding, everything was on point, every single item was cooked to perfection.

DJUSA:

The DJ USA team was amazing! They truly care about their clients and what makes them really happy. Once the contract was signed, I worked with Nisha Bhavnani, she was absolutely magnificent. We exchanged countless emails, multiple calls; she gave me plenty of brilliant ideas and helped me ease the stress. GOBO: Paul Motisi; when I say this man has patience of a saint is an underestimate. We never really knew what we wanted, but he helped us see a vision and create something from scratch for us and relentlessly updated the GOBO until we absolutely LOVED it, which speaks volumes to the customer service. The best part, during the begin of the reception the GOBO was stationed on the dance floor, once the dancing started, it rotated on the wall throughout the entire ballroom for the rest of the night, so many of our pictures have our GOBO design in the background, which we absolutely loved! DJ JUICY: I won’t lie, I’m very particular and was very nervous, I specifically picked Juicy, having never heard him live and basing my decision on recommendations and listening to his DJ USA clips. Picking a DJ, can make or break your big night, hands down one of the best decisions I made! I live in DC but the wedding was in NJ, managing to make it to the DJ USA office in Long Island was rather difficult but the staff never made it an issue. Nisha set up a FACETIME meeting so I can “meet” the DJ before the big day and go over the timeline and overall vibe for the night. At the reception DJ JUICY, killed it, to say he was amazing is an understatement, he blew it out the water, and even my parents were so impressed and happy with my decision. He was on point with every cue, every song, and he without a doubt knows how to get the crowd going. Thank you a million times for making our big day the best night ever, couldn’t have done it without you!

Global Bridal Gallery Boutique:

This small quaint boutique makes you feel like your own private fitting room studio and they keep their appointments small and private. I worked with Marie a genuinely sweet person, one of the main reasons, I fell in love with this place!! I didn’t really know what I wanted since I wasn’t wearing the white dress for a ceremony but rather for the reception. Marie still found me the perfect dress! The entire process was enjoyable and fun. After the alternation process, my dress looked perfect and it was just how I imagined it would be, at my initial purchase. I felt like a princess on my wedding day!"

Too pretty! There's more on the way tomorrow, Maharanis!
