Orlando, FL Fusion Wedding by Andrew Do Photography

When blending tradition with a sprinkle of modern magic, Jill & Paras' wedding in Orlando, Florida, took the crown (and maybe a couple of hearts). This was not just a wedding but an experience—a mesmerizing tale of vibrant colors, heartfelt traditions, and timeless elegance that could make even a Bollywood director take notes.

Jill's walk down to Paras during their first look moment was cinematic. Jill was the epitome of elegance, dressed in a fiery red bridal lengha that seemed to glow with every intricate embroidery detail. Paras, standing poised in his golden sherwani, had an expression that screamed, "This is my Bollywood moment!" And, oh, Jill tapped him on the shoulder before he turned around—the suspense had the few lucky spectators (and maybe even the photographer) holding their breath.

The ceremony at the Hilton Orlando was steeped in rich Indian traditions, yet Jill & Paras infused it with personal touches that reflected their story. Walking hand-in-hand under a canopy of cascading white blooms, they radiated joy and shared a laughter-filled moment that had guests chuckling and tearing up simultaneously.

Jill's intricate mehndi designs were a showstopper. The delicate patterns told a story of love and union, with hidden details that Paras proudly showed guests. And speaking of Paras, he made a grand entrance with his baraat, dancing with infectious energy and proving that he truly knows how to make an impression. Elite Dream Creations orchestrated every detail of Jill & Paras' wedding with impeccable precision and creativity. From coordinating traditional elements to ensuring the seamless flow of events, their expertise brought the couple's dream celebration to life.

As the reception unfolded, the stage design by Dreams to Reality created an ambiance that can only be described as dreamlike. Gold accents intertwined with lush greenery and chandeliers that sparkled like stars, creating the perfect setting for Jill & Paras' first dance. The couple swayed to their favorite song, and let's say it wasn't just the chandeliers that dazzled everyone. Awaaz Entertainment brought the energy to the reception with a perfectly curated playlist that kept the dance floor packed all night long

Andrew Do Photography brought unmatched expertise to Jill & Paras' wedding, turning every moment into a visual symphony. With a style that effortlessly combines vibrant editorial drama and intimate candor, Andrew captured everything from the intricate details of Jill's bridal ensemble to the unscripted emotions shared between family and friends. His lighting, composition, and timing highlighted the couple's love story with cinematic flair, ensuring each frame was dynamic and timeless. Whether it was Paras' joyful baraat or the couple's tender first dance, Andrew's photography immortalized every detail with an artistic touch.

Lenoir City, TN Indian Wedding by Bhowmik Dave Films & Photography

When Meghna & Bhavin decided to tie the knot, it was clear that this wouldn't be any ordinary wedding. With a perfect blend of traditional charm and modern elegance, their wedding at The Venue at Lenoir City was a testament to the magic that happens when two souls, two families, and a crew of immensely talented vendors come together.

The day began with a heartwarming first look. As Bhavin awaited his bride, the anticipation in his eyes was matched only by the shimmer of his intricately embroidered outfit. Meghna's entrance was enchanting, complete with delicate henna by Sweetly'z Creations. The mehndi design on Meghna's hands is a masterpiece of intricate detail and elegance. The pattern covers her palms with mesmerizing precision, featuring traditional motifs of floral and lace-like patterns that seem almost woven into her skin. The design extends up her fingers, with delicate lines and symmetrical shapes creating a beautiful harmony. As she frames her face with her henna-covered hands, the depth and artistry of the mehndi come alive, reflecting the beauty and love surrounding her wedding celebration.

And just when you thought it couldn't get more magical, the ceremony kicked off with the rhythmic beats of Jeetu Singh dhol, filling the air with energy and excitement. Every detail was thoughtfully curated by the visionary team at Amaari Events, who brought the couple's dream to life. From the floral arrangements to the carefully designed seating by Era Events, every corner of the venue radiated elegance and cultural vibrance.

The reception hall transformed into an enchanted wonderland as the sun dipped below the horizon. The couple's grand entrance was the epitome of sophistication, thanks to Meghna's flawless hair and makeup by Sumiyah Simjee. She walked in, a vision of grace and beauty, hand in hand with Bhavin, who couldn't take his eyes off her – and honestly, who could blame him?

None of this would have been immortalized so beautifully if not for Bhowmik Dave Films & Photography. Their team managed to capture the events and the essence of Meghna & Bhavin's love story – the shy glances, the heartfelt laughter, and the intimate moments that could easily slip away amidst the day's festivities. Each shot is a masterful portrayal of artistry and emotion, from the vibrant mehndi patterns that tell a thousand stories to the grandeur of the decor that sets the perfect stage. Bhowmik's keen eye brought out the unique details, from playful, colorful scenes with the couple in traditional attire to cinematic shots with dramatic lighting and a helicopter entrance. Every image they crafted speaks to the love, joy, and unforgettable moments that made Meghna & Bhavin's day truly magical.

And if you're planning a wedding yourself, don't forget to check out the amazing vendors who made this dream come true. Because, as Meghna & Bhavin would say, love is all about creating magical memories – and maybe a little dancing till dawn.

Cancun, MX Indian Wedding by Saptapadi Weddings

When high school sweethearts Simran & Ben first locked eyes, they probably never imagined that years later, they'd be locking eyes again—this time under the sun-drenched skies of Cancun, Mexico, surrounded by the turquoise ocean, vibrant floral decor by Palace Productions, and their dearest friends and family. Fast forward to a sunset proposal on the shores of Cancun, where Ben popped the question just in time before his new job whisked them away into adult life. The answer was a resounding yes, and they returned to the same paradise, now as bride and groom, to say "I do"!

The stage was set at Moon Palace Cancun, where the skilled hands of Pyaar Planning transformed the venue into a dreamscape, blending tropical charm with cultural elegance. Guests were greeted with a burst of colors, intricate floral arrangements, and the unmistakable beats of Drums in Paradise kicking off the baraat in a truly epic style—think Bollywood meets beach vibes, with a hint of Hollywood glam. With a lineup of dances at the Sangeet and heartfelt speeches at the reception, the night was a whirlwind of laughter, tears, and the clinking of glasses. Friends and family lit up the dance floor, and for most of Ben's American friends, this was their first attempt at Indian dance—trust us, the videos will be cherished (and maybe a little teased) for years to come! Simran's excitement for her friends' moves was contagious; let's just say even the palm trees swayed along!

Indian Destination Wedding, Inc. played a pivotal role in bringing Simran & Ben's dream wedding in Cancun to life, and it's easy to see why they're a top choice for couples planning South Asian destination weddings. With a reputation for seamless execution and personalized service, they coordinated the travel, accommodations, and unique cultural requirements that made Simran & Ben's wedding a spectacular experience for all who attended. Saptapadi Studios has truly outdone itself with Simran & Ben's wedding, capturing each moment with an artistic flair that brings their love story to life. The photos reveal the studio's expertise in blending traditional South Asian wedding aesthetics with modern romantic elements. The way they captured Simran's intricate mehndi designs and her soft smiles, alongside Ben's admiration-filled glances, highlights their intimate connection.

If Simran could give future brides a tip, it'd be to cherish every second because the day goes by faster than you can say, "Shaadi Mubarak"!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
We met in high school and have been inseparable since!

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
In early September 2022, Ben was offered a job starting in December. We quickly realized that our tentative winter break plans would no longer be feasible, and our next vacation wouldn’t be for another year. And so, we planned a last-minute trip to Cancun. On the first evening of the trip, September 29th, Ben proposed!

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
When we started searching for wedding venues, we kept thinking back to the breathtaking views of Cancun, where Ben proposed. So we thought, what better way to celebrate than to bring our friends and family to Cancun! We worked with Indian Destination Weddings (s/o to Ateet and his unmatched responsiveness!) and Pyaar Planning to bring our wedding visions to life. The styling trio did my hair and makeup, and they were fantastic!

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
We did most of our wedding shopping in my birth city, Amritsar, Punjab, in October 2023. I knew from the start that I wanted a pink lengha. When I tried this one on, I immediately knew it was the one!

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The site visit! We loved walking through the venues at Moon Palace and getting an idea of how our plans would come to life. We also loved taste-testing items from our customized menus. We were fortunate to do the site visit with our families and planners, and it was a blast!

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
We exchanged our vows and wedding bands at our first look the morning of the ceremony, at a small patio near the shore. It was absolutely perfect!

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
We absolutely loved watching all the dance performances that our friends and family did at Sangeet Night and Reception. For most of our American friends, this was the first time they were doing an Indian dance, and they did great!

Anything else you want to tell us? We'd love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)

Nashua, NH Indian Wedding by Knotting Bells

Get ready to be enchanted as we dive into Marissa & Aneesh's magical wedding. The festivities began with a vibrant Sangeet at the Sheraton Nashua, a unique event where the opulent ballroom was the perfect canvas for this event. Marissa, our beautiful bride, epitomized grace and joy, dancing with Aneesh and their loved ones. The wedding at Castleton Banquet & Conference Center was transformed into a dazzling dance floor by Radz Events. Love Décor's enchanting floral arrangements adorned the venue with delicate blooms, creating a breathtaking display of color and beauty. Marissa looked stunning, her hair and makeup done perfectly by Color Me Rouge, radiating happiness and love as she walked down the aisle. The guests enjoyed a delightful array of traditional dishes catered by Chutney Masala, adding to the day's festive spirit. Royal Co provided elegant invitations and wedding stationery, setting the tone for the affair and giving guests a glimpse of the celebration. Knotting Bells captured their love story beautifully, and their photography immortalized every precious moment, from the tender glances to the joyous laughter shared with family and friends.

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
I met my groom at our first jobs just after we graduated college. I cant say when I officially knew he was the one, I kind of always hoped pretty early on. If I had to pin point it, it probably was when we decided to move to a new city, just us, away from all of our family and friends.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
I had probably been slowly pestering him about our next step and whether or not he was going to propose for a full year or so before he did, even months before I had a conversation with him saying that he needed to "shit or get off the pot"; little did I know during that entire conversation he already had planned when and how he was going to propose. I had planned a trip with a group of our friends to Savannah, Georgia, for his 30th birthday. While I thought we were going to a rooftop dinner for his birthday, it was actually where he proposed in front of our parents and close friends.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
My husband and I both new that we wanted to get married outdoors and in the early summer. My husband grew up in an Indian household, and he wanted the full Indian wedding experience, so we decided that was the way to go, albeit with an American touch. We looked at a number of venues, however with choosing to get married in the North East of the US we had limited venues that would hold the capacity of an Indian Wedding, or even allow outside catering.  We hired the most amazing wedding planning team, Radz Events and Urvashi Mishra, to lead us through the entire planning process. She connected us with vendors that fit our ideas and would be able to deliver what we were looking for in our timeline and budget. Both my Husband and I aren't huge decision makers, so we really appreciated the help from family, Urvashi, and the Vendors - they led us step by step through the "typical" Indian wedding and allowed us to customize the way we wanted. It was a long, intense process, but it was so worth it, and it turned out better than we could have ever dreamed.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
As soon as we got engaged, I knew I wanted to include my American culture and upbringing in our Indian wedding. I decided that I would wear Indian attire for all events, except for our reception and that is where I would wear my White dress. Although Indians don't typically get married in white, it was important to me to wear white, even down the aisle. For my White wedding dress I purchased that in Massachusetts and it was a dream, when I bought it, I didn't think i could possible like any other wedding outfit more - until we went to India.  I got my wedding lehenga in Pune. It was hard to come across stores and designers that had all the beauty and detail I wanted but in white. We walked by Rollie Couture, I looked at the display windows, and I just knew. My mother-in-law and I went in, and as soon as I tried it on, I was in love. White dress, who? It was so different and unique from what I've seen other brides wear at Indian weddings, and that is exactly what I wanted.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
It is hard to say what was enjoyable during planning; it was a lot. A lot of decisions, a lot of disagreements, and a lot of pleasing many different people. It was nice reinforcement that my Husband and I were on the same page for the majority of decisions. Really, the best part was seeing it all come together and the true ability of all of our vendors.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
We did not want to toot our own horns, but we really felt like our guests loved everything about the wedding. A lot of our friends and my family have never been to an Indian wedding and were amazed by everything that goes into it.  Hopefully, the guests loved that we really tried to think through everything and provide options for all types of wedding guests.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
My husband and I were both surprised by how much we truly loved the Haldi. We knew we'd love the sangeet, ceremony & reception (which we most definitely did) but we were caught off guard with how much fun we had at the Haldi. Seeing all of our friends and family embrace an event that can kind of be slower and less fun really excited us.

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
We technically had 7 events over four days - talk about a Whirlwind.
We did a small Bridal Mehndi & Family BBQ to get everyone acquainted before the formal events. It really put both families and our closest friends at ease when they had familiar faces as the weekend went on.
Our Pooja/Mehndi was a small, more intimate event in my in-laws back yard, we wanted to include the event as it was important to my in laws but we chose to keep it small and intimate.
The Haldi was outside at the hotel where we had reserved our wedding block and Sangeet. We had gorgeous yellow and white flowers as a backdrop and ended the event with a flower shower, water balloons, and even buckets of water being dumped on both of our heads.
The Sangeet: we did a good mix of Indian and Non-Indian food - we wanted to really call out the culture of the sangeet while also including our food preferences. The excitement and interest in the performances really made the night; our closest friends / bridal party even performed, which was super meaningful to us as very few had ever been to a sangeet, let alone danced Indian.
The ceremony was stunning, outdoors in front of the lawn, and our Decorator blew our minds with the Mandaap and Aisle decor.
Last but not least, the ballroom was transformed into just what we wanted for the reception. We used dark themes, with candle light aesthetics to create a more romantic evening. We spent our entire night on the dance floor with all those that were most important to us.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
I don't have a ton of wisdom, but what I'll say is- it's okay if you don't love the wedding planning process. Keep your eye on the prize and just focus on being on the same page with your future spouse and the fun that is to come.

Anything else you want to tell us? We'd love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)
