We love fusion weddings for all the right reasons. There are the dresses, the dancing, the exotic food; each element seems to get better with each wedding we cover! Today we honor the lovely union of Sezin and Joshua whose wedding affair consisted of a garba, sangeet, wedding and reception party; this was truly a family affair as guests arrived from all over the world. Even Sezin’s reception party dress was flown in all the way from Dubai. With blush pink accents intermingled with silver work, this bride fused traditional prettiness with a modern twist. The Dar E Mehr Zoroastrian Temple, a place of celebration and worship for Parsis and Iranis of the Zoroastrian faith, sparkled with the artistry work of design team extraordinaire Elegant Affairs. My favorite aspect of the setup is the whimsical decor that takes me to The Midsummer’s Night Dream era. Just so delightful! Guests couldn’t stop clamoring over the unique cuisine provided by Raja of Bukhara Grill and some buttery naan sounds so delish at the moment! Of course, no reception would be complete without beats and Magic Mike DJs kept the dance floor packed. As an added bonus, we have some inspiring words from the bride herself: "Don't let the stress of planning for your wedding get in the way of what really matters; the one you love and celebrating your union with loved ones around to support you. On the day, enjoy yourself wholeheartedly because you will remember the touching moments more than whether appetizers were organized in a specific way." Have a great weekend and we will see you next week Maharanis!
Happy Friday Maharanis! We finally made it! TGIF! Today we have a love story all the way from Scranton where pure love just blossomed between our lovely couple. Sezin and Joshua were college sweethearts and Sezin knew the minute that she laid her eyes on her beau, he was the one. Add in a surprise proposal at the park they both often frequented as students, well, here we are! This wedding was definitely a family affair with the bride's parents, brothers, and fiance all contributing to the planning of the multi day event. The couple wed at the newly constructed Zoroastrian Temple of New York. The theme for the ceremony was “enchanted woods” and Elegant Affairs once again blew us away with their impeccable design skills. Sezin walked down the aisle in a white crepe silk sari covered in Swarovski crystals, truly shining like a diamond for her Prince Charming. One of my favorite decor items of the day was a nature inspired ivy covered birch trees accented with blush and white roses. The ambiance of the naturesque vibe was further enhanced by specialized lighting from Magic Mike. Studio Fifty Five captured all the love in our gallery that is just brimming with classic elements and modern details that any bride could appreciate.
We have the wedding reception coming right up!
Welcome back to Nirmal’s wedding celebration where we celebrate all things pretty with these glammed out shots by Shakar Photography. The bride and groom hail from Muslim backgrounds but wanted to incorporate themes from Indian weddings as well. The series of events included pre-wedding festivities with Khahish by Hina spearheading all the beauty tasks. The bride was glowing as she shared an intimate moment with her hubby for some gorgeous shots. Elegant Affair Southwest glammed out the Omni Mandalay Hotel - Las Colinas in tones of metallics that was further intensified by lighting from DJ Riz Entertainment. The crowd didn’t leave the dance floor! This is one indication that your wedding party is one for the books. DJ Riz Entertainment curated the most perfect play list. L3 Event Services ensured a flawless planning and design execution. But, don’t take our word for it. You can see all the images yourself in our gallery!
That’s all for today, same time, same place tomorrow Maharanis.
Hey there Maharanis! Today’s celebration is a bit unique as we explore through all these memories captured by Shakar Photography honoring Maharani Nirmal and Karim. The couple are both from Muslim backgrounds, however, they want to incorporate the traditions of Indian weddings into their festivities. The bride was glammed out by Kashish by Hina who ensured that not a single bobby pin was out of place and face was still glowing by the end of the night! No wedding would be complete without securing the most ideal floral and decor team and Elegant Affairs Southwest took the decor from ordinary to extraordinary. DJ Riz Entertainment ensured that music and lighting was on point and per usual, he didn’t disappoint the crowd or his bride! These pre-wedding photos are oh so charming and we cannot wait to share the Nikkah and reception that we have coming right up. Head into the gallery for all the sneak peeks!
