With their exquisite bridal fashions, they crafted a stunning ensemble that perfectly captured her style and personality. Complementing her attire, they also provided dazzling bridal jewelry, adding elegance and sophistication. Pattupleats worked their magic, skillfully draping and tying DeAnne's sari to perfection. The skilled team ensured that the sari perfectly complemented DeAnne's features and enhanced her natural radiance. Of course, we can't deny the luxury jewelry she wore, composed of a traditional-golden tikka and a unique choker. Thoroughly planned by Events by Hala, today's real-life fairytale has all the things we love and so much more, so get ready to be amazed! This time around, we'll be joining our two lovebirds at the Sheraton McKinney Hotel to be part of the wedding reception and events that united their lives in marriage. Right from the start, we have to say that this celebration was an ode to perfection and an extravaganza. But there is no surprise here, as the talented crew from Elegant Affairs took care of the mesmerizing decor that left everyone speechless. The elegance and beauty surrounding this celebration are reflected in the looks of our gorgeous Maharani Priya. She looked ravishing dressed in her stunning attires by Binari Art, very well complemented with the flawless hairstyle and makeup designed by Ms. Painted Lady. A La' Couture took care of the incredible jewelry while Henna by Uzma created a spectacular Mehndi. She walked down the aisle dressed in a red Lengha with golden embroidery and Jasmin Thomas took care of her glamorous makeup and sleek hairstyle. Flawlessness was everywhere here, and our lovely Maharani was no exception. Shalini wanted to wear a red outfit, not just because it is traditional but because she wanted to add some memories of her romantic and emotional proposal event. Frontier Heritage made her look simply breathtaking by selecting an amazing bridal lengha for her. She also wore elegant hair and makeup to highlight her natural cuteness, and fancy jewelry was present too. There is no doubt she looked like royalty with the dreamed attire! To enhance the venue's beauty, Kismet Event Design crafted marvelous backgrounds and scenarios, we are sure you will love as they demonstrate how you can use your decor to create incredible shots that will make you look splendid. It was with our happy bride's favorite colors and tones on this occasion. Definitely, Events by Sep designed a luxury, classy and chic unforgettable event. How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
I knew he was the one when I first came down to Pittsburgh only to have a delayed flight! I was supposed to come in at 6 pm and instead came home at midnight. When I walked in he had this whole dinner at home set up, with plates and red napkins and candles! He even cooked the perfect meal!
Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
What I thought would be a fancy lunch date on top of the mountain turned out to be the man of my dreams popping the question! Somehow he got me dressed up, got my nails done, and got to on a gondola without any suspicion. When he got to the location on the top, I saw the proposal set up, and I said to him, "Oh, look, someone is getting proposed to; we can't go there" I tried to stop him many many times from going closer and closer to the site. It clicked to me when the violist started playing the Wada Raha song that this proposal was for me! He proposed, and everyone around the site cheered, and then 5 mins later our whole family showed up! Literally all of them from all over the states!

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
I started planning in the middle of COVID, thinking it would go away. But all of my vendors were really nice and willing to work with me. We originally had a July date, but due to restrictions in other countries, we had to push back our date to December. Our vendors were flexible in making the change without any issues. I started off booking my make-up artist Drea first! We only had our date at this point. Then I went on to book my venue and wedding planner at the same time. The rest fell in place one by one!
How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
This was really hard since I was not able to go to India and new outfits were not coming to the states. I knew I wanted to wear red. The first store we went to was Frontier in LA. I tried on a few but really fell in love with one of them. But I knew I should try more when I went to NY and NJ. So a few months later I went around and tried on more, sometimes I tried them on just to entertain myself and see if I liked anything I wore! But all I could think of was that outfit I really liked. The week after I told my mom to just go purchase the one I really liked and she face timed me and we bought it!
I also wanted to wear my mom's wedding sari or try to incorporate it into my outfit somehow! The final look didn't come together till the week before but I decide to wear it with a white choli as my baarat outfit. This was super special because my mom and I did a little welcome dance as well.
What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
They all said they loved the food and coming to California even though the weather wasn't the best!
Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Every time I look at our highlight video all of the memories just rush in now! I think the most fun I had was during our pithi and sangeet night. We did a flash mob during the sangeet and it was the most amazing thing ever that came together!
For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
Pithi: The theme for this event was Capri/lemon. The team did an amazing job making the ganpathi in various blue sea items!
Satak: The idea was to go with something peaceful and serenity. So we decided to do a lotus in the background with cherry trees coming from the side.
Sangeet: The theme was Jaipur. I called this event Pink City Soriee on our invites.
Wedding: All white with greenery
Reception: I wanted to bring back a little bit of the proposal to bring in a full circle of this time period. We added a mountain decal on our dance floor with red and purple flowers through out the backdrop and tables.
Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Enjoy it all! Try not to worry too much about small details and small fights with your parents. Go with the flow and enjoy it because it won't come again.
