When a reception looks as awe-inspiring as this one, we are hard pressed to find words that can do justice! Garima and Nirnimesh clearly have a penchant for all things sophisticated, and you could tell that Blondell’s Accents on Events and Sheila Smith Floral Designs were a dream team. They took our breaths away with the stunning towering vintage tablescapes that featured candelabras, lavender stems, and a ton of crystal elements. The glint in the gazillion crystal pieces and candles were enhanced by the soft lavender lighting and elegant drapery. You’d think that with all this overwhelming decor, there couldn’t possibly be anything else to look at, but the show truly belonged to the newly weds! Garima looked pretty as a picture in a pink and mint lehenga set, topped off with an orange organza dupatta. Nirnimeshmade for a spiffy groom in a three-piece suit paired with an elegant black bow tie. DJs from District Remix made sure the wedding party had a total ball at this swanky reception at Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay! We're back with the magnificent walima! This elegant event was held at the Hilton Baltimore, and the amazing team at Sarah Khan Event Styling added dreamy, romantic decor to the venue! We especially loved the centerpieces: alternating golden candelabra and vases with dangling flower-covered branches, all surrounded by candles! Our beautiful Pakistani bride Irsa made her grand entrance in a breathtaking pastel lavender gown, with flawless hair and makeup by Masooma Hassnain! Hello Maharanis! Today we're heading to the gorgeous Hilton Baltimore for a spectacular walima that'll leave you speechless! Before we get to the festivities, however, we're checking out stunning Pakistani bride Irsa's fabulous look! The Maharani's impeccable hair and makeup were done by Masooma Hassnain, who gave the blushing bride romantic pastel eyeshadow, bold eyeliner and bright lipstick for a super dazzling look! With an incredible soft lavender gown covered with exquisite beading and radiant gold jewelry, Maharani Irsa looked like royalty! We're at the gorgeous Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center, ready to see the magnificent walima Dreams to Reality planned for our lovely couple, Mediha and Bilal! With delicious catering by Sabri Nihari and a whole room full of desserts, there was no end to the tasty treats to eat at this sensational Pakistani wedding! The entire venue was also adorned with beautiful flowers and decorations by Dreams to Reality; we especially adored the glittering centerpieces covered with fresh flowers and crystals! Maharani Mediha on choosing her bridal outfit:

"I knew I wanted to wear pink as it is not only my favorite color but also would compliment what I had in mind for the event decor. Instead of a lengha I had decided on a long flowy dress. With the help of a friend I was able to get a hold of the designer I wanted to hire to design my one-of-a-kind wedding dress. I was able to achieve the perfect pink with the perfect amount of bling and elegance. I had spent much time browsing the internet but I knew inside I wanted to design my own dress with the help of my favorite designer."

On the most magical moment of the wedding:

"The most magical moment was walking into the wedding hall with Bilal and seeing all our family and friends applaud and welcome us. Walking in to the dreamy venue and see everything come together perfectly was the most enchanting moment."

On her hair and makeup:

"I worked with a makeup artist to achieve the subtle yet glowy pink look I was hoping for. Since my head would be covered I opted for a simple updo and went for an eastern princess look with a headpiece."

On how her family helped:

"My in-laws helped tremendously in arranging the event especially arranging the most wonderful caterers to come down to Orlando from Chicago and to use hotel property to cook and prepare our dream menu. Also, we were able to use multiple areas of the resort to host the appetizer and dessert."

On the venue:

"We had picked Gaylord Palms Resort because of its ambiance and elegance. The resort was able to provide us a separate hall to set up an extravagant and unique dessert lounge. The dessert lounge had several different from macaroons to fresh fruits to Indian/Pakistani desserts, both local and flown in from New York."

When we found out that Jannette De Llanos Photography was behind the other camera at Sofia and Mike's Indian fusion wedding event at the Key Largo Lighthouse Beach, we knew we couldn't rest until we got our hands on some of the highlights they captured — and it was worth the wait, my dears!
