Cherry Hill, NJ Indian Wedding by Jayesh Production

Hello there, ladies! We are now presenting Amruta & Arpan's wedding ceremony, an elegant and luxurious event held inside the halls of the Crowne Plaza Philadelphia Cherry Hill. The venue was at its very best to harbor this heartfelt nuptials thanks to the magic touch of Nirali Decor, who demonstrated their planning and design skills and delivered fully once again. We are impressed by the lovely Amruta's bridal fashion, she opted for a floral lehenga and sophisticated a jewelry set that included a double long necklace set to die for! While Raja Arpan looked absolutely neat wearing a dreamy cream embroidered ceremony outfit and pink turban. So elegant! When the ceremony was over, a luxurious reception enlivened by Amplifire Entertainment and catered by the wonderful Chowpatty Catering. Just the perfect ending for this love story. One more time, there is so much coming to us thanks to Jayesh Production, who caught the very best moments of our lovebirds through all their wedding day, so make sure not to miss any part of this traditional union in our gallery!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
We actually meet on Tinder. I would say I knew he was “the one” about a year of dating. Fun fact: we got married almost 5 years to the date we met. I actually didn’t realize that until my wedding day!

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
I had my hints about him proposing. I’ve been sending him different ring posts on Instagram of what I wanted LOL. I put the pieces together when people kept asking me for my ring size. The actual day of the proposal kind of gave it away too - Luke told me to dress up for dinner (something neither of us do) because we were going somewhere fancy. While leaving the house, I saw a box in his pocket and knew immediately. Luke proposed to me at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden during the Cherry Blossom Festival. Naturally, I was looking around to see if I knew anyone in the crowd and there came running our siblings.

Post proposal, I wanted ice cream (shocker) from Ample Hills. Little did I know that all our friends and family were there to surprise me. I was actually very surprised — it’s pretty hard keeping a secret from me. This was super super special because we had our first date there. Everything couldn’t have been anymore perfect.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
Planning a wedding was HARD. I was so overwhelmed by everything. Luckily, the internet helped a lot LOL. I found a lot of my vendors from weddings I’ve been to.

My venue was based of “lucky” dates provided by a priest. I took our dates, and started searching for a venue based off of those dates. Outfits were all from India - thank god for my mom and cousin. They did all of my shopping.

The decor theme was hard to pick. I was definitely all over the place with what I wanted. Thankfully, my decor company was extra patient with me. I changed the centerpiece colors like 5 times and they didn’t even get mad!

I wanted to incorporate little things that we both love into our wedding to make it extra special. I even got Krispy Kreme donuts for everyone at the reception to surprise Luke. The most special moment of our wedding, hands down, was when my brother walked into the hall after the wedding ceremony with my dog. I’ve had my dog for more than half of my life (I am obsessed) and wanted him to come to my wedding more than anything.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I actually picked my bridal outfit via FaceTime! I had a color and material in mind that I told my mom and cousin and they executed perfectly! I would wake up at 3am just to look at outfits. The outfit I chose suited me perfectly. I thought it was the perfect balance between modern and super traditional.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The reception was hands down my favorite part of planning. This was where I got to put my quirky ideas into play. Planning the reception was also a bonding experience for both of our families which was nice. Chowing songs, picking out caters, cake tasting and the list goes on! I loved how involved everyone was with making sure our day was extra special!

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
I can’t say that there was one thing that was loved. Being a mixed race couple, it was great seeing my Lukes Polish side enjoying the festivities. They were so captivated with the decor and how the whole wedding went about.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Defiantly when I got to wear my late grandmother’s jewelry. I felt like a part of her was sitting right next to me during the prayer.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
BREATHE! Your special day will be PERFECT! And do not be afraid to ask for help! Finding a wedding planner is also a life savior.

That is all for now! Make sure to join us tomorrow; we will have something special for you!
